I challenge the explanation in this video that intent of tort is not to punish... TORT comes from LATIN Torcere Which means to WRING somebody's Ass for doing you Wrong.....

Yes. But wrong doesn't necessarily mean that the remedy in tort is to punish. I would also challenge your premise that the etymology of a word defines it's legal rationale

I would be very careful. While there are some principles and ideas that do extend to other countries, this is a channel aimed at English, European and International Law, not the law of any other domestic legal system!
