This is actually the first time I've heard an explanation for those odd "Diaclone Mech" figures, so cheers for that. Also, yes, that arm transformation is a horrible juggling act from the 3P Legends company I usually think of as doing the easiest transformations.

Regarding the purple exhausts: the g1 toy had this weird vertical molded bit at the end of the orange cab. Not sure what it was meant to be, but perhaps the purple exhausts are meant to reference that. It's definitely an odd detail about this toy.

I couldn't stop laughing whenever Huffer deployed his ultimate weapon. I can imagine if Huff was on the ship in the 86 movie, the 'cons would have left and the core cast of the G1 Series would have stuck around longer such as Prowl, Ratchet and Ironhide. The silver pipes actually look more like air intakes than exhaust stacks. As far as the ventilation system on the back, it's just an external air conditioner.

It's just the tops/hands have a similar appearance that I've seen on some foreign and smaller cabover tractors. Actually, take a look at Australian Road trains. While they are like the standard American Truck, like a Kenworth W900, they do have tall snorkels coming from the top of the Standard air cleaners mounted on the sides of the hood. This is so that they can drive through Dusty areas. As for Huffer, I think I would much rather have his arms be the exhaust stacks, and nothing else be there.

Yeh...the cooling unit on the back of the cab is entirely redundant on the vehicle that Huffer is supposed to be - a shunter. The aircon units on the back of cabs is usually seen on linehaul trucks doing longer trips, for the sleeper cab and especially for hotter environments...like Western Australia and the mining industry - 3-5 day drives from city up to the minesites

Explanation n what the fans may be from. Most long haul trucks with a sleeper bunk have something to provide power/heat/AC for when the truck is off and the driver is sleeping. They typically come in 2 kinds. A bunk heater which is a unit under the bed. It's purely electrical and can only run off of the batteries. The second, which my truck is equipped with, is an auxiliary power unit, or APU. The APU is essentially a generator mounted behind the bunk on the frame just in front of the rear wheels. Because it is essentially a second motor, it requires a radiator to help cool the coolant to help provide cold air and cool the motor. So on the back wall of my bunk (on the outside of course lol) is a small radiator with a fan. That's the only thing I can think of, as all shunt trucks I've seen don't have anything like this on the truck.

Ya know, I never understood why people were like “ wheel jacks the clumsiest engineer ever and his inventions never work, even though for like the first ten episodes all they did was work. And don’t even mention the dinobots. It’s explained later that they just needed larger brain modules. So they still worked, because they were originally programmed to act more like dinosaurs. Hopping you review the studio series Optimus prime. He in my opinion is one of the best studio series toys we ever gotten. The vehicle mode is fantastic and so is the robot mode. The thing is that this thing has some masterpiece engineering. It's not a surprise because they put the masterpiece engineers to do the siege and earthrise and Studio series. So that explains the quality of Masterpiece today. Anyway awesome review!

with a lot of post editing. you need to suspend the figure somehow (fishing line, armatures, whatever works for you) and then after the fact go in and paint over the supports with a clean plate (take a photo of the scene with no figures in it as a background image
