Excellent video sir! I have this flash, for my Nikon Z7, and it's been working fine for over a year. However, suddenly, it won't power ON, despite a fully charged battery. I've tried removing/re-seating the battery, recharging to verify the green light on the USB charger, but it just won't power up. Any thoughts on the cause, or should I send back to Adorama (still under warranty). Thank you.

I bought a new one from adorama and it doesn't even work... i guess they sent me a defective one.

Very good video, I totally agree with Jerry to skip on the obvious on and off button and mount. It would be useful if you make another video on how to pair with flashipoint R2pro II trigger with one or two flashes and how to update on the latest version for Mac users. Adorama has done a poor and sloppy job on firmware update.

Ive had this flash for 3 years and have NEVER been able to get it to work with the remote unit that is made for it. Fine for on camera but not for off camera with the remote system.

Video claims will attach to any hot shoe. This is a Canon specific flash. Must purchase the flash version for your brand of camera.

seems like Canon made this so you might need a cable to the side of the camera to make this work on a Nikon. That happened to me I have Nikon and Canon .

I am an old retired photographer with over 50 years I want to see a video that skips all the stuff like how to mount and how to turn-on or how to install the battery we get it. We know what TTL is so get to and spend more time on what setting are necessary. I want to see a video the says here's how to get two flashpoint XR2 strobes to work off camera. Start of like you're talking to your grandfather; step #1, tell what is the first button to push and set and continue on until both strobes have the correct settings to work off camera. Talk slow and don't cover up the button with large fingers. In the old days it was easy one camera was the master, both strobes had a switch that said master or slave.
