I have that same bag and it has served me so, so well as a teacher (and it works great as a carry-on bag for traveling, too!). I also got one for my father (college professor) because I liked it so much. Absolutely worth the cost -- I've had it for several years (while most bags have lasted me for maybe one year of daily use).

We had a surprise attack ice storm in spring of 08 I believe ! I was in 8th grade when it happened ... Well it started snowing at Like 9:30 .... Well they finally decided to release us at 1:30 after prob 100 or more kids had already been picked up . My dad and mom came to get me at 12:50 or so and then we went to pick up my sister who was a senior in high school but they didn't want her to drive home in the weather . What should of been a 30-45 minute trip in total turned into 3 hours ! They've been better about it since then ! We only get ice storms here too , no fluffy snow. All this to say, portable chargers are a must !

I think we got the same Ice Strom in Georgia. It was craziness and people could not get to the school because of ice and accidents. So I was stuck at preschool over night with 15 4 year olds. It was an experience. lol.

+The Lettered Classroom So crazy! that's when I learned to bring a charger, and also a change of clothes and blankets with me everywhere. I'm sure you'll have much more snow where you're living now, So they are probably better equipped to handle it. So hopefully you won't have that experience again.

Be careful with those Frixion pens. If you accidentally leave your notebook in a hot car, the heat makes the ink disappear. I learned this the hard way. All of my appointments were erased or partially erased from my planner. :-( Apparently some artists actually use Frixion pens to do a rough sketch, then go over it in regular ink, and then use a hair dryer on the page to make the rough construction sketch marks disappear.
