Love watching you clean and organize! I am not at all a clean and organized person...piles are my jam, but I always get the urge to get things back in order at this time of the year. When I can't use my systems anymore, I can't handle it. I often use testing week to organize because I don't really have planning or grading to do and get things back in order.

Hi Bridget, love to watch how you change the classroom organization from time to time. I learned a lot from you. Thank you👍 As for the thank you cards, you can put them into a yearly scrapbook, dedicated just for the thank you cards. It's like looking back at the "rewards" when you need some motivation😊

Bridget, your eyes and eyebrows are GORGEOUS! 😱👀 I’m so glad I’m not the only person whose classroom looks like a wreck after a crazy week. I need theses silk pillowcases you speak of 😯 I’m eyeballing your dollar tree baskets attached to the chairs. I wish so badly my room was a tad bigger so I could have combination of desks and choice seating options. Black pants! Ahh, mine do the same thing. It’s the material they use to make them. I mean... who’s got time for fuzzies!

I've been putting off organizing some papers and resources that I have been accumulating. I am now inspired to get them taken care of because it does feel lots better to have things clean and organized. :)

LOL! I've been in Spring cleaning mode last week and going into this one! Sorted out cupboards in my reception classroom (I teach 4-5 year olds in the UK)! Glad, I'm not the only one in cleaning mode. :)

I would tape the cards on the inside of a storage closet door. Each time you open the door, you will see all the great messages you received.

Being organized unclutters our minds. Think it's really important to tidy up, then focus on other matters. Good job!

I literally JUST organized my room after spring break. I left right at contract time because I was OVER IT. Basically walked away from an explosion. As for the cards, I totally just had a few that I stuffed away. I have a box deep in my unused desk of warm and fuzzies that I keep. I don’t keep them all, but I keep the ones that mean a lot to me. On hard days, it helps to have fellow teacher notes or student made notes that fill my bucket.

Ok, Spack (😉) put all sentimental notes and cards and special pictures and drawings inside your coat closet on the door- like a bulletin board right on the door. It’s so nice to peek at it when you have to get something inside the closet.

Have you thought of putting the checklist outside by the basket. Put their names & as they turn in their papers have them check their names off too. Put it on the kids teach responsibility??

The homework basket- so they hand it in on top of that sheet? Will you always stand near the basket to check off or will they? My students would throw it on top and the check sheet would be hidden. I like this idea.

Do you keep some of the same things in the binders as you do in your 43 file folder system? Just curious to how the two compare and contrast. How do you decide which things go into the binder or the folders?
