Thanks a lot Kay, I clicked on the video without even knowing the proper names of these things and now, I've got enough knowledge and confidence to learn more about these. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi Kay excellent video would you have any information available for angles use on a spreader beam
@LiftingandRigging2 жыл бұрын
Great question! We have a video and article on Spreader Beams vs Lifting Beams which talks about the angle used. But we don't have something specifically just about the angles available. We'll add this idea to our video list! In the mean time, here's the article I was talking about: www.mazzellacompanies.com/learning-center/spreader-beams-vs-lifting-beams-definitions-differences-and-design/ Hope this helps! - Kay

Have a question about Swivel Hoist Rings, can you tie off to them with a YO-YO or SRL if not why?

Main question I have is what's the difference between a Swivel hoist ring that is screw on and one that is bolt on? I have seen these on websites and they look exactly the same.

Hey Anthony! It really come down to what kind of hole you’re putting the swivel hoist ring into. If it goes into a defined hole with a specific diameter, you would use a screw-on. If the swivel hoist ring can go fully through the hole, you would want to have a bolt on the other end. Let me know if this helps! - Kay

@@LiftingandRigging OK That's what you would think. Just like a fastener it is either a screw or a bolt. But the website I found for hoists has 2 completely different parts for them. So I'm like wth?

Typical rigger couldn’t rig a raffle half of them surely you need to know the thread depth on what you are lifting who drilled and tapped it.
