General RAAM has been the only boss so far that hasn't used a giant Locust beast in order to make his fight memorable. Skorge had his mount, Karne had a mount, Myrrah had the same, and the Speaker had a mount... Jesus people, let us fight a Locust/Swarm badass human to Locust again.

0:42 till this day, this is one of the scariest scenes I’ve ever witnessed in gaming. RAAM is the personification of what a villain should be, intimidating look s movie monster but cunning like a mad genius. And this scene right here where he catches the chainsaw 0:37 and stares into Marcus’s soul with vitriol, you don’t draw up a villain any better than this.

Coming from the Skorge video. This story really is set up to be a 5 Part DLC. First player plays Raam. Second plays Skorge. They'd have Theron guards to play Third and Forth player. Final boss could be Sraak. Why aren't they making this?

I love that little "Fuck you,Sraak," by Karn. Lines like that really makes me want to read up on Gears comics. This is very interesting story telling seeing villains making moves. And this makes me appreciate Raams character more than I already did.

Would've been sick if he was one of the ending boss in GoW3, Like you'd defeat him in G1, critically wounding him just for him to be saved by The Queens Guard. You'd fight Skorge, the queens high priest in G2 as Skorge and Raam are mutuals. Learning of his friends death, he'd surface in G3. To take vengeance on Marcus and Delta for taking his friends life and beating him.

Fact 11: Raam is not a theron. I know the lore says that he is just a really big Drone. But think about it. The locust have quite a few subspecies. Even sounding different. The standard drones are just a tad bulkier than your already roided out COG soldier and wear armor. Then theres the Grenadiers who sometimes run in shirtless and are bulkier than your standard drone. Even without armor they take longer to take down than a drone. Then theres the Therons with the raspiest of voices ever. About as big as a drone but have basically no lips and have more of a snarling expression than the rest. We also have the thicc boomers who are really chunky and strong drones but are not very smart. Same for the berserker except more blind and far more angrier. Finally then theres Raam and Sraak. I personally wouldnt call them drones, more like behemoths. Raam clearly does not sound like a drone, more like a bassy theron and have that big lower jaw. Also Scions. Alot of people think that Scions are former boomers, no they are actually just multiple drones fuses together which makes them look big and even have similar but pretty different voices from drones. A Warden is what happens when maybe a boomer and a few grenadiers are fused into one, which makes them taller and wider than a scion even sporting more crystals than a scion and for this I got actual proof. So remember when Kait was in thr snatcher. She could control Juvies, Imago drones, and even a Scion. But she had trouble when it came to controlling the Warden. Thats because the grenadiers and the boomers are much more savage and bloodthirsty than the more intellegent standard locust drones and therons. Try as hard as she could to remote control that Warden, but she couldnt stop him. It does explain why they arent scions everywhere because alot of locust died. Its because the scions are like...3 drones in one body.

Incorrect my friend. It’s like humans, there’s some humans that are absolutely huge, for instance Shaq or Big Show. Locust would’ve been the same. Scions are evolved locust drones that evolved from exposure to the ICMW. They’re not drones fused together. Wardens are the next level up from scions because they kept the majority of their impenetrable crystals, they’re not made of multiple drones. However if you’ve got proof I’d love to see it, would be cool to expand the knowledge :)

@@KingAbzTV I’d agree with you, but Shaq is 7’1”, the average height of males across the US is 5’9”, a 1’4” difference. Locust range between 6’1” to 6’8”, meanwhile Raam is 10 whole ass feet, a 3’4” difference at least and nearly 4ft at most! And then when you consider that Sraak is like 2 or 3ft taller than Raam, nah, that’s gotta be a sub-species of some sort, or at least some selective breeding or genetic splicing fuckery to produce exceptional high ranking commanders.

General RAAM was certainly a brutal locust soldier and commander who saw the way to save his people from the emulsion that had been making his fellow locust soldiers become infected. Biding his time until he was able to achieve the ranking of general, human equivalent, and led the initial attack upon the surface dwellers ie Emergence Day.

Myra is able to control the locust with her mind because they are all connected to her. She was able to telepathically communicate with Raam while Raam sieged Illima. Now if Myra physically choked him I can only speculate that he became really submissive to her considering she is most likely I'm his head at the same time as choking him.
