That dragon would have been a great mount for Raam. Skorge had the hydra, and Karn had the shibboleth, but Raam should have had something better than a kryll reaver.

The locust dragon would’ve been real interesting to see in the Mt Kadar level in Gears 2, & of course being evolved by the Swarm would’ve been a awesome idea

29:51 this reminds me of the end of gears of war 2, leading towards 3. there was a limited time horde mode where there were wretches that ran at you and shot gnasher shots. it was so overwhelmingly difficult but funny to play. i think they also did a similar thing with the sires

If gears can come out with customizable cosmetics for characters would be sick. Hopefully the implement more creative ideas because gears has so much potential to play like any other game. Horde mode mix up with beast mode would be sick a pvp one on cog vs locust 5v5. Or a concept like hell divers they can go any direction

28:18 a little trivia for those who may not know, the sniper rifle version of the markza was actually featured in gears 5 for a short period of time for public testing, and the gun basically acted as a breechshot, and from that alone you can probably tell why it got removed like a day later

The main reason why it's showed the locust with Cog armor because there were left behind and abandon which the Cog decide to recruit them.

You know what's funny over the past few months I had this idea of the Locust integrating big monsters from other universes into their forces. The main one being the Rathalos from Monster Hunter. Now I find out there were ideas for a Gears Dragon once upon a time.

In the one flashback scene in gears 3 where we understand that Cole has now lost his hopes and dreams and his social status as a sports star, because his home planet was invaded by aliens, that joke meme character has more charater development than any other character in the series.

Halo has loads of cut content. Cool thing is that much of it has been restored as mods for the steam version of Halo Master Chief Collection. With some being official releases from the developers and others restored from "locked off" code in games.

8:54 Oh my god... The WRENCH! I remember the wrench! God, I... remember, back in the day, seeing some footage about it. It was a usable weapon in the game that had the same execution as The Longshot. I remember it was unfinished because the animation would stop mid execution. The player stopped hunched over, while the wrench moved with telekinesis around the frozen model and you could see the wrench slam down and pop the head. You could even use it in chainsaw duels. I remember being so confused when it wasn't in the game. Wow. This feels like some proper Vindication for something that was lost to me as a fever dream

I feel like the savage buzz saw launcher just got broken into 2 weapons they repurposed the cross bow design for the trip laser launcher seen in gears judgement and obviously they used the buzz saw for the heavy weapon in gears 4

We got something similar to the palace guard sword. But not entirely. In judgment theres an easteregg in the museum map that gives you one of the older lore- before pendulum wars. Sword of the cog i believe? Its still just as cool. 😂😇

The thing with Karn is really neat because it is a pretty deep cut reference to Warhammer 40K which a lot of GoW gets inspiration from. In the Horus Heresy (a long running series about a civil war in the galaxy) the equerry to the primarch Angron of the WorldEaters was Captain Kharn (later known as Kharn the Betrayer) and his best friend during the heresy was a Wordbearer by the name of Argel Tal. I could be grasping at straws but I thought it was worth a mention.

It would be AWESOME if the Rocket Launcher comes to "E-Day." They could bring the Wretch throttling lines, back. That would work with the way "E-Day's" campaign looks. They are returning to the "horror" aesthetic, so a few jump scares wouldn't go amiss.
