Marcus doesn't try to tell Dom that he'll make it or anything because they both know that agaisnt the Grubs, death is all too common. The fact that they survived up to this point was a series of miracles.

One thing I find strange about the tai vs skorge fight cutscene is that right before when dizzy is holding him off, dizzy just seems to disappear from the fight rather than helping tai. Maybe he had to help anyone else trying to drill down to the hollow

Hope we get an answer to what happened to Dizzy like is he alive or dead? Why wasn't he in gears 4 or 5 story? So many questions that still have not been answered. Same can be said about Sofia and the mysterious Carmine brother we don't know about. So many unknowns and doubts that not all will be answered till gears 6 release

Dizzy probably died of old age in the care of his two daughters he supported. There’s a likelihood he opened a brewery since he made moonshine for favors and trade, also because he worked better in his rig while sauced. Bernie was also someone who didn’t appear in gears 4.

Sofia was heavily implied to be dead by Paddock. He describes two locust capturing her and only having time to take one of them out. He then proceeds to hold up a set of COG Tags, implying that he killed her to save her the torture of being processed.
