其實說 Afraid of heat 也並非正確。 「怕熱」最簡單又能直接表達真正意思的說法應該是： I don’t like heat. I can’t stand heat. I dislike hot weather. 並非真正的 害怕 “afraid” of heat. 「給你」一個比較有涵養的説法是簡簡單單的 For you。 對方如果輩份高，你光說 Here 或 Here you go 是很不禮貌的。 「拿去」一種 嗟來食 的口氣。

How to say的文法其實沒有錯誤 但問題是這不是完整問句 只是一個名詞／事件 可以說Could you tell me how to say this word? 16. gone 跟 been 在語意上不太一樣 gone 通常指去了 但還在那 been 指去了 也離開了 go somewhere代表去某處 而完成"去"某處 近似於中文的"到了"某處 而完成"在某處"(be somewhere) 較近似於"去過了" 17. 哥倫布兄 教得很好 非常實用。用what happened 而不用what happen, 是因為在問發生什麼事情的時候，那件事情是「過去」已經發生的事，因此what happened,是指過去發生的事.所以用過去式.

Ese跟an結尾用法不同是因為涉及歧視，跟支那類似，原本古英文ese是可以當名詞的，是因為直接說人是一個Chinese 有貶義，才避免說。但時代變遷，應該發起直接重新把ese當名詞的運動，或是Taiwan人另創一個字。

如果是去了加拿大还没有回来的话，建议可以说 I have been in Canada. 就加拿大的英文环境而言，我觉得老师是对了。Been to, 是指曾经去过，现在已不在那里了。

have gone to 的確是還沒回來，所以不可能用在第一人稱I的身上。have been in 是用在強調已經在當地待了多久。He has gone to Canada. 他已經去了加拿大，所以現在是不在本地的。至於他要在那裏待多久，不是這個句型能回答的。

Where are you from?" is a general question about origin, heritage or nationality; where as, "Where do you come from?" is more specific used for geographic locations, city, specific address etc.

版主、及各位朋友， 對於如Taiwanese或Vienamese等等詞性，其用法應該不只於形容詞。表示local inhabitant/native亦無誤矣。 www.dictionary.com/browse/taiwanese?s=t www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Vietnamese But there's been some kind of myth already where discrimination is implicated in "whichever country name + ese." It's a myth alright, but "China man" is definitely discriminatory and one really should do without. Onward and upward, and have a good one.

(I actually do say that a lot, but I tend to say I'm afraid of cold more. So I've been wrong this whole time. Lol) 4. I'm Taiwanese. (About the "an" and "ese", is quite interesting, I've never noticed.) 5. The rain is pouring. (I guess I say heavy rain a lot too. But when you say 雨很大, first thing came up to me is pouring.) 6. I really like you. (Still different from the video D:) 7. I have class today. 8. I listen to music. (Mine is over simplified, lol) 9. Turn on the light. 10. Turn on the fire. (I said that because I didn't know you were talking about stove, I would say stove if I knew. Plus I have electric stove top, so technically it's an electric device....I know I'm just twisting things up. Lol) 11. How do you say this word? 12. For you! (That's the first thing came up to me, simply because I was thinking about gifts and stuff..I don't know why) 13. I have to go. (I guess use must for 一定 is better when you're trying to emphasize the importance of it.) 14. She's blonde. (I guess I'm wrong again because I didn't focus on the hair color. Since blonde can also refer to a type of white girls.) 15. I wanna go to Thailand. (Since you say 想, I thought want has to be in there somewhere, but you just use "will". I don't find this translation as direct.) 16. I've been to Canada. 17. There's no why. (I guess I also say that a lot when people keep asking me why, it's definitely more verbal.) 18. There's a dog over there. (I guess I like to use over a lot too.) 19. My job is an English teacher. ( I said that because the Chinese is really messing with my head as I was trying to translate. I'm an English teacher does sound much smoother. I guess an isn't necessary, but it's easier for me :x) 20. What happened? 21. I'm at home. 22. Exercising is fun! 以影片的道理來說說我才答對了11題。。Orz 我不服。。。
