The van is amazing. Regardless of age and mileage you have done all the future proof maintenance. A fantastic job. You two need to feel very proud of yourselves. WOW!!!!!!!! I'm stunned! I mean you've done a great job but to spend that amount of money on an 18 year old van with 150,000 miles on the clock seems crazy to me. Here in Australia you could have done it for much less, but as I say, you've done a brilliant job. Well done.

Well done guys. I have loved all the van build vlogs….. the ups, the downs, the laughs, the remakes. The team work was super. The cost of this build is priceless. It was great therapy after a very difficult time and now it is the “vehicle” for hopefully years of amazing travel memories for you both (and us via your vlogs). And hopefully a few visits to my homeland of Scotland. For 30+ years I have been returning home every couple of years and have always found May or September to be the better months. Gillian

Finally had chance to watch. How on earth Nick did you reel off all the spec's and brand names of every part like that? Did you have a script? Unbelievable!! I was £1k off, I said £38k+ £1k in butties & coffee 😂 All jokes aside, it's absolutely incredible what you've done. Huge applause and respect to you both. Hearing all that went into the van summed up like this really gives an idea of the scope of the achievement in making it the comfortable space it is now. Clearly, it is not inexpensive to undergo a project like this, but if you get years of enjoyment from it, it will certainly all be worthwhile.

Hey Lodge Guys! Is it alright if you can say a Happy Father's day to my dad, Jakey, from his daughter Kate, (if you can't say a hi on father's day, that's okay!) my dad and I have been watching from just before the summer of 2019 before we went to Florida, and have been watching ever since, your a big influence of us all in my family. And we are thankful for all you do. You've even influenced my parents to drink the world in Epcot this August 😂 what fun that would be.. hopefully they don't get to drunk! I absolutely love it, I’m interested to know how many miles an engine is expected to do these days, because the van is so beautiful would you consider putting a new engine in if it came to it or is it likely to keep going for so many miles that the fittings are likely to wear more first?

if it's maintained there is no limit, it's not unusual for a diesel engine to go well into the 200k mark

Hi guys do you have any fire fitting equipment in the van, what it could have cost is irrelevant the cost is what you have paid to kit the van out as it stands, you could have chucked a mattress on the floor and it would have cost next to nothing, also why don’t you allow any labour cost and then you would have the true cost as it stands its not a 100% actual cost, did you factor in the fuel cost to go to Band Q etc keep safe Andy and Vonnie
