Seeing the A of spades is a fold every time. You’re either behind to AK/AA or you are flipping at best vs a flush / flush & straight draw. Plus the A is live to pair too. Rampage should have kept quiet and let the action play out.

Rampage should have just called instead of going all-in, but whatever. Glad Scooba got away from his hand. It's either AA, or AQ or A10 of spades. Either way, he's way behind, or likely going against a flush and gutshot straight draw with 3 overs if going against AQ or A10 of spades, which gives him just a slight edge.

Actually I guess if he 3bet preflop the realistic hands that jam this flop are like A2-A5 suited (unlikely), maybe like AQ suited, buts it’s AA or AK a lot more often. So actually yea I agree with you

Allowing your opponent to choose which card to show seems really dumb in this spot. Would Rampage allow the opponent to choose the card if he had any other Ax hand like A5s here? Probably not, showing the 5 of spades makes his hand face up to the flush draw and a snap call since a 5 is never ahead of a K here. So if rampage is ever bluffing in this spot, there is a 50/50 chance the bluff would fail based on the card selected. By allowing the opponent to choose, he is signaling he is fine with either card being shown. Although he may be willing to gamble the 50/50 on the shown card being good for him, that typically is unlikely. The only way a bluff would make sense in this spot with allowing either card to be revealed and one containing the A of spades, is if he specifically has AJo and even that seems iffy. Otherwise its always just AA since other Ax hands would not want to show their second card. Making him showing the card here, signal he is extremely value heavy. At least thats how I would view that card shown.
