This is also a lot more detailed than "Abandoned By Disney." "Abandoned By Disney" ends with the cliched "extreme horror" non-sequitur ending of a lot of creepypasta. There's subtlety in the build up and the atmosphere, but then there's this "extreme" ending for the final major scare, which is so crude and over-the-top that it ruins the previous build-up. In "Abandoned By Disney," the existence of paranormal horror could have demonstrated in a more subtle way, but it instead ends with a reverse palette Mickey Mouse ripping its own head off. Up until this point, in this series of connected MLP creepypasta, everything has been kept relatively subtle and relatively tasteful. The reveal of Discord still fits all of the build-up, without being some cheesy "extreme horror" ending. It's a reveal for what truly lay in the center of everything, and there were legitimate hints for it.

@@ominimonzwartalterb5526 There's actually more Abandoned By disney works written by the same creator, and in my opinion they really make the original Abandoned By Disney a lot better by adding context to what photo negative mickey is. Though some would argue that the story should stand on its own (and in my opinion it does), I highly recommend reading the other works by this creator. It gives the original Abandoned By Disney story meaning by commentating on Disney as a company through the use of horror elements. I believe the other stories are called A Few Suggestions, Room Zero, and Corruptus. My favorite is Room Zero though, since it mentions the existence of the mickey mouse gas masks, which were real children's gas masks made by Disney and are actually terrifying to look at.

Just finished listening to this and omg, that was amazing. By the end, it shook me up. But can I just say, those VA’s who played the characters were just fantastic and really made the story feel alive! The Fantastic Fitting music, the terrified narration was perfect, and by the end, I was shaken up and horrified at what happened, but all in all it was really really good! Keep up the fantastic MLP horror stories. Blown away! (P.S. That would be so cool though if there really was an MLP ride like this with the mane 6 and stuff, hearing this def helped me imagine what that’d be like, and it sounds awesome...maybe one day hasbro, one day)

i get this is a series of fanfics but i took it differently so here is my explanation (Sal is the kid with the fluttershy stuff and Melanie is the protagonist) Sal was one of the first to actually be in the my little pony ride. Everything was going well until nightmare moon's scene came along, during that part the rollarcoster chains snapped explaining the speed the Melanie goes through, because I'm pretty sure this ride would of been a slow ride. Sal was scared of discord for all the power and mischief he caused and in the show he was able to drain the mane 6 power to nothing and almost won this explains how discord became this eldritch-demon-god, and because discord is taller than many of the ponies his giantess is shown toward Melanie, and finally when Nightmare moon was defeated and left her seat was loose and died her final moments was the photo. Once Hasbro and Disney test it again they saw what Melanie saw, this being what Sal experienced (without the pony "you wondered what happened part") (much like how ghost do in some stories). the talking ponies are what Sal thinks the characters would react while being on the ride, besides she did have the "you have friends in equestria" (I know I certainly had some of those times.) the black goo is her decayed blood from Sal's death the reason why the ride looked brand new was because of memories of Sal when it was brand new (the animatronics had there issues but she only cared about the familiar animation) the reason why Sal didn't kill Melanie was because she wanted to let her see why they closed it. sooo yeah hope u enjoy!
