The rearrangement of trees and flowers are hard enough, but you ladies do everything! I remember my dad always getting me outside to help him take can of some small projects when I was around 10 years old. Back then it was fun learning from him, but when I started in my teens he would always tell me to remember the lawn. Don’t forget the weeds around the house. Don’t forget we will be cutting branches off shrubs and bushes all around our yard. 😮 Boy, by the time I was married and out of the house, I was happy. Then I found out not only did I go and help him on the weekends, I also had to do my own property. My ex- husband wouldn’t do anything. Great work ladies! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

If you put a French drain around the back perimeter of the back kitchen, it wicks away moisture from the foundation. It's most likely the same amount of labor, just need to buy the pipes and cheese cloth and get the drainage angle correct.

You were both busy. That small room will make a perfect laundry and storage room, and give space to fold your washing too.Brilliant idea. Also a good place to store wellies, you can come in that way and take them off in ther and clean them if necessary.if you could get a radiator in there ,you could even dry washing in there on one of those ceiling driers ,the washing would drier faster, but with no heat,I know these old houses are freezing as I owned one with the thick walls,as the cold can radiate of the walls themselves .Love n Light 🥰

I would have kept some of the items you were throwing away, for instance, corrugated metal comes in handy for roofing and other projects. I noticed you were putting stones in the bottom of your pots, and that's good. What not is good though, you did not rinse them first. Always, always, always put your stones/pebbles in a sifter first, and rinse thoroughly with a hose. This way, you'll remove any seeds that might be hiding with the stones, thus preventing them from going into the pot and stealing nutrients away from your main plant. ALSO, you should wash the inside of your pots as you would wash your dishes. This prevents microscopic bugs from destroying your plants. Rinse thoroughly to remove all suds. --I worked in Landscaping/Gardening for 30+ years. I call this 'The Trick of the Trade'. I Love your house and land. 😊
