Tahir is a real one. 1) At 14, he took care of a child he thought was his only to find out years later that it wasn’t. He excelled at school as a sometimes homeless 14 year old single dad. 2)He was a great friend to Farren as she was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend’s baby. He was there for the delivery (before getting kicked out by family). He later marries Farren and treats her daughter as his own. Props brother. Props.

I've always liked Tahir, but the more I learn about him and his transparency, the more I respect him. I love the way he's there for his family, and is continuing to evolve and heal from previous trauma. I wouldn't have known that if not for his transparency. Craziest thing is I’m about to leave a toxic relationship I’m in based off this testimony. I’ve been reading about fear and I will not stay in a place where I have to fight daily. My boyfriend just mocked my fathers death which is one of the hardest things that ever happened to me he acted like he was having a heart attack and dropped to the floor. He then later said that’s why you’re dad is getting ate by bugs in the ground. I’m tired of being silent. I’m praying for strength to leave.

This was a great episode. I would love to see a companion episode with all the wife and girlfriends. I believe most of them have already been made public now. It would be great to hear their point of view of them from being apart of this lifestyle and you guys bouncing off each other. What is it like to share your mate with the public? How does it feel to have your live as material or being so public? Some of us apart of similar situations (pastors wives and kids, partners of people who travel a lot, etc.). You need to have things in common, and open lines of communication. No, you don't need to tell Everything, but be open to the tough questions/conversations. Spend time together, date your mate, reconnect if necessary, touch, love, smile, but don't shut down. My husband used to dislike PDA. I loved every second of this episode, and I understand, love, and respect the Moores so much. I think Tahir and I share a lot of the same qualities. As stated, those qualities can make it really difficult for someone to receive and accept real love. With that in mind, this was one of the hardest shows for me to watch. The amount of trust and acceptance each couple holds for their partners is so beautiful and rare. I cried watching this because the idea of being loved and accepted that much is so foreign to me that I don’t think I’ll ever know what it feels like. But I am so blessed to at least hear a testimony of what marriage should and could look like in the 21st century. Thank you Melissa and Kevin for your ministry, and that’s really what you have here, a ministry for marriage and love. The world needs more of the latter.

I feel like everything happened the way they were supposed to. I like the fact that she cut him off when she realized she wanted to get more serious with someone, and that having a "friend with benefits" wasn't conducive to that, and then allowed him to pursue her, and prove himself to her, by making sure she had a place to stay in Cali, and even throwing her a welcome/birthday party when she came. That was thoughtful. He put in work, and she put in work. Don't give it your all for nothing. There are men with shells around them that they AREN'T ready to break. So don't stay with a disturbed guy with just the HOPE that he'll turn into a better person. Let him prove that he WANTS to be, and is working towards that. And if he doesn't, walk. 🤷🏿‍♀️
