“Well decorated brokenness” so um...I JUST BECAME A SUPPORTER OF THESE TWO. I knew nothing about them. Granted, I just got my own IG last year...I’m not too social media involved, but I embrace good things and good people. I sense there is good here. Thank you MKOS for sharing your platform. ❤️❤️😭😭❤️❤️

A moment to brag if I may , since were talking about black women lawyers , my sister graduated high school in 2013, graduated college in 2016, law school in may 2019, passed the bar and is now an official Esquire . She’s been working for a law firm for a little over a year . She just turned 25 This past August 😭❤️

Their story is both awesome and triggering. I tried to end a bad relationship, stayed, had a kid and it only made things 100 times worse. I'm glad they made it work, I just needed a sec cuz it brought up past experiences I'd rather not remember. It's refreshing to hear more women understand that approaching people is not easy and Rejection is not fun and that they too can step into the arena. When Noeimi said he didn't feel safe to speak... triggered once again. That was a word. These two are something serious.

I think they said that their sponsors want them to "naturally" integrate them into the episodes.
@breannacarlisle54413 жыл бұрын
They've done that before but I assume it's stopped as a time saving thing. I assume they're really busy right now and want to get the ep out without delays so they can keep up with everything . It is probably less editing to do it live in the moment then prerecording it and trying to figure out the best spot to put in the ad. Could also be that it's always been done this way but in the past they just edited it so you didn't see the other couple waiting while they do the read.

Love this episode! Totally agree with y’all on the counseling piece. I was glad to find out that some faith based training instructs pastors to refer people out after 2-3 sessions for the very reason that they are pastors and not professional counselors.

Ok another couple to watch. I must admit, I'm NOT the playful intimate affectionate person with my children. I didn't realize how much of a problem that was until I seen how my fiance is with his children, mine and our baby. I noticed my mom was the exact same with my sister and I, dad was a popcorn dad. Hell just writing this I see that I made sure I was all of those things with whatever man was in my life but not my children. My mom again, EXACT same way. Whew child I've been looking for a good therapist. Great video
