Hi, Very informative thanks. I want to see this place and plan on staying 1.5 days. You say you stayed in Cobal but I cant find it on the map. Can you reccoment any place to stay there? I see Flores and the lake but I dont see the town you mentioned . I see Caoba but that is a bit north and not on the lake. Thank you

Hey! I’ve been following you guys for a while and finally decided to go to Guatemala! As you mentioned, Tikal is pretty far but we also would love to visit semuc Charmpey. Did you guys fly to Flores and rent a car to make your way down to semuc charmpey? We only have 6 days so I would love to ask you some tips to go around Guatemala!

We had a private guide pick us up in a shuttle in Flores! He drove us around that area
