It looks nice, but there is a real issue with doing this for anyone considering it. Go to 6:38 and look at the tire bulge at the bottom of the tire. This tire is 2.36" wider than stock, and 4" wider than the rim at the bead grooves. That bulge is almost 2" on each side and is compressed where the tire hits the road, and then expands for the remainder of the revolution of the tire which builds heat in the sidewall. This issue will be hugely exacerbated if the air pressure gets low and will likely cause a sidewall blow out. The other issue is the height of the tire. With this tire the car will be traveling 61.73 MPH when the speedo reads 65. Even if you want to take the risk for the width you'd be better of getting a 315/40r17 so the car will be traveling at 64.72 at 65, which is close enough.

I know this video is a month old but since you have 315/35 in the rear, put a 275/40 on the front. The height of the tires will all be the same...fbodies and the grand sport vette do this all the time.

Nice should be good with the short side on suv and truck running 305 and up u and pop the seal on a pothole you have take some of the air out so the tires dont wear in the center

Those 315s must run really narrow. I would have figured that wide of tire on an 8.5 would give you a concave sidewall. Plus they don't look a whole lot wider than the 255/50s.
