You are missing the point of the comment, if he fights a real boxer and does well, takes some hits, gives some hits, maybe goes the distance, maybe gets knocked out in the 8th or 10th round. He would be ok, because at least he would be man enough to get in the ring with an actual boxer. Win or lose it’s more respect for being brave enough to do it. But continuing to set up sensational fights against people who don’t box and take a large payday to get knocked out IS NOT BOXING. Jake can continue to do whatever he wants and you can all keep wishing you were as cool as he is. But he will never have the respect he seeks as a legit boxer if he doesn’t fight real boxers.
