The sausage is called either square, lorne or slice, depending on which area you come from. Call it flat sausage in front of a Scot again though and you may get that Glesga (Glasgow) kiss!

Lee that breakfast looks absolutely delicious I like that they don’t pre butter the toast, the breakfast itself looks very very delicious. The place itself look great looks clean and the staff seem to be very friendly, the waiter to the side of you having a laugh and joke with customers. I’d definitely give it a 10 it’s getting harder to find great service and great food.👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Millions of Italians fled Italy to escape poverty, I think it was between 1880 and 1914 . Thousand landed in Scotland and settled in Glasgow and other city’s . With them they brought there customs, culture and food, and Scotland is better off for their presence. A case of immigration work perfectly. Haste ye back big man 👍

Little history into this family owned business. A member of this family is called Paul Coia and he was a tv celebrity throughout the uk as well as doing radio work. He was the first voice to be heard on Channel 4 back in November 2nd 1982 to introduce Countdown to the viewers as Countdown was the first to be aired on Channel 4 . What a cracking looking breakfast Lee. That really was a first class Scottish breakfast with the Lorne sausage. Over the years I’ve been to Scotland I’ve always enjoyed the Scottish one over an English. From Inverness, Perth, Oban, Edinburgh, Fort William at hotels or self catering cottages I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed Scotland. Never heard of that Glaswegian kiss though but I know exactly what you mean Lee. Wouldn’t want to be in the receiving end however. After the disappointment of the fish & chips this has made amends.😉👍

You asked about the big Italian influence in Glasgow. Mass wartime immigration. They're a well loved, deeply ingrained part of the city. The much-maligned 'Scottish deep fried pizza' actually originates from the Italian immigrants, particularly from those from Naples who went on to run fish and chip shops. Pizza Napoli - deep fried.

Didn't know you were in Scotland again. Your video has if you pardon the pun given me food for thought. I now need to try these two places. I'm in Port Glasgow Inverclyde so getting to Glasgow only takes about 25 to 30 minutes by train. I love fried bread but haven't had it in years. You don't see it often enough in breakfasts. My mother used to make it for us when I was a kid. I'd much rather have it than hash browns. Glad Glasgow didn't dissapoint as of course they say the Tikka Masala was invented in Glasgow.

Lots of Italian Fish and Chips shops all over Scotland, as you know they are famed for their gelato but with our weather they diversified into fish and chips as well as ice cream for when we get hot weather which does happen by the way, just not all the time. 🙂👍.
