Wow - 90-95% of what is in your bag is unnecessary. Water bottle, first aid kit w/blister bandages, ibuprofen and antacids, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, facial tissues and hair ties. I.D.s and debit card, of course. Everything else is just extra weight you have to lug around all day! I don't mean that as a criticism. I understand you are what you call "Type A," but with all that stuff you carry around I would say you were more like "OCD." I don't say that to be mean, that's not my way, but I live by the "less is more" philosophy. If there are any emergencies I deal with them as they occur, but to try and pack along all the things you carry would totally destroy my enjoyment of the park.

badbiker666 For all those things you listed, it seems like the 90-95% is a little inaccurate, ha. I totally get that not every person has this in their bag. I am not saying this is what people NEED to carry, by any means, obviously. I'm also woman who is usually the only person who brings a bag with my group of travelers. Call me OCD, fine, sure, don't care. I enjoy my way of life and like to help those who are looking to be prepared :)

Sounds like you took my comments as I intended them - not as a criticism, just an observation. I personally consider it VERY IMPORTANT to do just as you say ... enjoy your life! And yes, I was a little off with the 90-95% figure. I guess I wouldn't be very good at giving advice either. That's probably why I don't have a KZbin channel. Also, in case your wondering why a "bad biker" carries hair ties, I have a wife and two daughters and they are all losing their hair ties constantly, so dad likes to be prepared. I do like your channel, by the way.

Caroline Savoie I've had it for about a year and a half and it has gone through A LOT and I still think it looks good!!! I've cleaned it before with just a little bit of soap and water on a toothbrush and that worked!

Just watched a couple of your videos. First off I love them and secondly thank you. Thank you for making me realize it's okay to be Type A. I clip a purell around my belt loop, I bring tissues, chap stick, phone, annual pass, and ID all this in my pockets. Do you have any l light backpacks or bags for guys you recommend? Also, love your personality...great job!

Another good idea, to bring a change of clothes is in case you get dirty! You can get drenched in water, sweaty/smelling and maybe want to be fresh for dinner, or maybe some kid accidentally bumped into you with their ice cream.But yeah, I usually go to the parks with friends and I don't use 95 percent of things you pack!! lol To each it's own. :)

Do earplugs work for you?? I am also terrified of fireworks and loud noises. I tried using earbuds (like headphones) but that didn't work, and I don't want to carry around noise cancelling over the ear headphones. So I just end up plugging my ears, but I would love an alternative to that.

Margaret Elizabeth YES oh my gosh I am the same. Use Mighty Plugs. They are almost like a playdoh type thing and they mold into your ear. I seriously can watch every show now with them. They are a life saver for me, seriously.
