Hi Cory. Ros from Australia 🇦🇺. I can’t help noticing how bold those little squirrels are. He was challenging you there 😂. It amazes me constantly, the diversity of this beautiful world. God is so creative, I’m often blown away. He’s a good, good God. 😍

Hi, I think that the communication from the birds and the squirrels is telling the moose that there is a foreign body in the woods. The noise and smell of a foreign human can make most animals freeze their movements and be prepared to charge or flee. Good luck, you will need it! Cheers mate. Harera

Cory, THANK YOU so much for the spectacular nature footage! It was truly awesome. Just listening to the bull coming through the forest you can gain an appreciation for its size, then seeing it step out in the open and seeing how majestic he really is. The awesome footage at the beginning I expected to see a bear come charging out shouting ‘WHERE’S MY PIE??’ You could be a nature photographer with your knowledge and skills. Take care of yourself. Always wish the best for you.

Hey Cory, what beautiful red and orange maple trees! Love the spider webs as well. The pictures you take a just amazing, look at the size of the moose! Cory was that a, grouse in the trees? and I think I am hearing nuthatches. I hope all is well and we had our first frost a few days ago! 28 the one morning in Missouri. Today we woke up to 40 and it is going to be in the middles 70s today 19 Oct 24 Genesis 1: 24-26 24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Awesome Cory! God sure has giving us beauty in Nature and his Creation. Awe a little moose! and love hearing the Paddles hit the trees too. I hear that squirrel warning everyone something is in the woods. Thank you for the wonderful video of Maine and nature! Cory and may God keep blessing you in all you do. What a wonderful ending with Miss Gracie! Cory, I need a Gracie, shirt!

Do they spend more time in cuts with more cover during the rut? In Massachusetts, I didn’t see any moose in my favorite moose cut until late October where I would see them every morning I’d head out. That cut is large and mostly open so I wonder if they like to be in the woods in new england during the rut in cuts with more old trees mixed in
@TheMaineWoodsАй бұрын
@@brendanmaher8267 they seem to be in somewhat different areas in September vs October, lot of variables but in September they are usually closer to their summer habitat like water and such and in October they’re often more in the wintering habitat where the food is so cuts and such. There is overlap as well. During the rut they will be where the cows are and afterwards they will be where the food is
