They did use the TIC. Had you paid attention to the video you would see them use it. Opening up the remaining units had more to do with victim search as well as check for other sources of ignition. Neither one of those would necessarily show up on a TIC.

It is my understanding that as long as people are not in the immediate area, and they are familiar to the FDNY, and do not interfere with the performance with their fire fighting, they are not hasseled. I know that this channel and Skylerfire are well known to the FDNY and well respected. All the coverage we see is in close up, and in no way interferes with the fire fighting. I feel so sorry for the people who lost their huts. It is surely heartbreaking for them. Great knockdown by the FDNY, or it could have been so much worse. Blessings to each and every member. Thank you John for your great work. Best coverage, as always. Blessings to you, sir. ❤❤🚒🚒❤❤

What a sad mess. Too bad for the water issue--might have been a different ending. But also could have been a worse thing if it weren't for the amazing work of the firefighters. Looks like everything was extremely combustible. Yikes. Thank you for your faithful video work at all hours in all kinds of weather.
