My favorites are: Essence "Lash Princess" green/black package False Lash Effect. Essence "I🖤Extreme" Crazy Volume - pink package. I haven't tried it but I want to try both essence mascaras together for a combo of volume+ length. Elcie Cosmetics "Lashfull" Mascara. IT Cosmetics "Superhero" mascara. Lacome "Hypnose Drama" I heard good things about the thrive causemetics but I havent tried it yet.

I've been loving the new Snapscara from Maybelline in Black Cherry...soooo good!! In addition to the traditional black and brown, they have other fun wearable colors too. As for Blush, I like the ones from Milani and Flower Beauty since they have a great color and finish selection, along with lasting power. My mascara count is not high but out of all I've used Cabaret by Vivienne Sabó is my probably my fav. But I usually have to clean off the excess with a clean brush afterwards.

Sinead, you really broke down a simple makeup routine so well. I would also add sunscreen to Group 1 or even onto the list. I understand sunscreen for beginners is hard especially when you're just starting it, but sunscreen is so good for everyone's face. Really enjoyed this video! Great job, like always! ❤

The brand I have been using is Hadarabo Japanese Skin Lab Gokujun UV White Gel. It's SPF 50+ and PA ++++. It comes in a jar. I've been using it since March and I think it's my favourite sunscreen I have ever used. I have sensitive, combination, blemish prone skin and this doesn't clog my pores or make me break out. It leaves a tacky finish for about a couple of seconds then dries down. I purchase mine on Amazon. Hope you give it a try! ☺

No it's not, what come's to make-up something "small" can make or break the whole face 😌.. I heard good things about the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush in #10 Rosy I think it may be a satin and the Elf primer infused blushes may be satin or matte not sure, I been into glowy blushes lately, it's mid-range but still drugstore I been loving the Pixi collab with KZbinr from head to toe in the shade Wednesday it's a pink glowy shade they have a peach tone one too, I havent bought it yet, since I haven't found at Target in-store I think it's only on the pixi website. Not drugstore, but the beauty bakery blushes that come in a large 4 pan pallette is on sale at ulta for the 21 day of beauty for $26.60 regular $38.00 are very pretty, they are glowy too.

I use the MisshaM BB cream instead of a foundation because it has an SPF. It has good coverage. When I apply sunscreen and foundation, it's too much for me.

I have question... No matter if water proof not not, Mascara runs with a few hours of it being applied. I am NOT using a primer, it hap pop ens if I use a curler or not. I have been unable to find a brand that will not run....Any suggestions would be great. I am in the US

one of my favorite mascaras is from avon, it's called the super shock mascara. good volume and length. and i love tarte lifetd mascara, very beautiful

Natalie that’s part of your skin care, I don’t think of SPF as makeup related so it’s not part of this.

(Sorry if this seems like a don't question. I've only ever worn makeup for stage performances and special events. I'm now 36 and still figuring out what goes into a daily makeup routine. The struggle is real! 😜) Thank you for the informational and well thought out video! It's one of the best I've seen covering the basics. ❤️
