Had mine a couple of years now & love it , I swapped out the plastic T piece and upstanding for stainless steel and a spray ball 👍👍

I love my Bucket Blaster. No doubt someone will be on here later to state how easy they are to build themselves, but as someone who's DIY averse, these are great. I use a three bucket system, one with Chemclean, one with warm water and one with sanitiser. I rinse the pump with a hose in the sink between uses. I hadn't considered using the disconnects with the collection jar!!! 9 out of 10 stars because there's no on/off switch, which has lead to me cleaning myself on numerous occasions. Love & Beer folks ✌️

I love mine it’s fantastic. The only modification I’ve found I needed to do was cable tie the pump to the frame keeps it nice and tidy. Great vid cheers guys 👍🍻

I changed the plastic pipe with a stainless steel pipe and fitted a CIP spray ball as well, I then put it in much larger bucket and I can actually use it to clean my Grainfather conical fermenters as well. Obviously, I remove the valve assembly and then cap the fermenter off with a blanking plate, turn it upside down and it rests on the side handles over the bucket, the valve can be taken to pieces and cleaned separately

Smart move! We've seen a few options for cleaning the GF30 style FV's and will be having a play!

bought one, used it once so far and I think Im in love !!!!!!!!. only downside is I need to work out how to easily get the disconnects not to interfere with the stand ..

Are you using reverb kegs? That's where we found it more challenging due to the handles not having a cut out on then, unlike the new taller kegs.
@jimwaugh942 ай бұрын
@@themaltmiller8438 aye these have no cutout on the rubber bit

With a couple of different fittings you can use it to recirculate line cleaner through your system (if the type of cleaner you use calls for that)

the videos have been great as of late. I saw this one and ignored it for seems like a couple weeks But definitely getting one those look unreal

Glad you like them!

Would this be suitable for cleaning a Chubby? I'm guessing I would have no option to use the disconnects so would I just leave them hanging and expect for no cleaner to shoot out from them as they're not engaged? 🤔

These puppies are gonna sell themselves! Appreciate the test of the jet 😂 Any news on when we can get that 8th Birthday Competition feedback? Not sure if its due to appear on the blog or in the newsletter or somewhere else.

Hey!! We put a post out a few weeks ago with a link to the feedback - just look for your order/entry number on this PDF - www.themaltmiller.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Elusive-Birthday-2024-FInal.pdf

You can put a few drops of anti-foaming agent in to stop excessive foaming

Can you recommend a suitable anti foaming agent?

I've been waiting for the Keg King washer to come back in stock. How does this compare? The main points that lean me towards the Keg King option is the facve it only needs 6 litres of liquid to operate, has a more powerful pump (3500l/h instead of 2000l/h) and the metal frame appears to fit a keg on a bit better than the bucket blaster one. As for ideas, whichever option I go with I plan to build a bottle washing rack, I've seen a few DIY solutions online/KZbin, one of my favourites used some PVC pipe and the plastic outer parts of some biros to create vertial jets.

Now that sounds like a great idea! Let us know when you do it! Having used both now, they are both great - but in different ways. I agree that the smaller volume of cleaner is of benefit, we will test the Bucket Blaster out with less and report back in a future video, but the thing we really like about the bucket blaster is the use of DuoTight fittings, it makes the whole assembly for the keg posts far more reliable

Wouldn't mind seeing that with a CIP type cleaning jet..see if it has pressure in all directions

That’s on the test list!

@@themaltmiller8438 I'll keep an eye out for that one ... What I don't think you mentioned was an approximate cost?

Could you test this with a CF chiller? Let the first few litres of very hot water run into another bucket as hot cleaning water for later while topping up the blaster bucket with cold water and then recirculating through the bucket blaster bucket with ice for cooling down to pitching temp? Could be handy for a brewspace where a tap/sink isn't easily accessible and a good way to reduce water usage?
@themaltmiller84383 ай бұрын
Great idea!

Silly question but if you’re using Chemclean are you also using it to rinse too?😊
@themaltmiller84383 ай бұрын
You can use the bucket blaster to rinse with clean water too if you like and then use it again to flush with sanitiser, although this can get a bit foamy! 🫧

How does this compare to b the other keg washer you demonstrated a few months ago?
@themaltmiller84383 ай бұрын
Both are great and have benefits but the big thing for us with the Bucket Blaster is the way it all connects together using the Duotight type fittings, this also offers far easier customisation option as a result

Do you think this would fit the diameter hole in a 5 litre mini keg ?
@themaltmiller84383 ай бұрын
It would most likely fit, depending the keg you have.

Will this work with smaller 10L kegs?

Yep! As long as the opening on the keg is wide enough for the tubing, which all the ones we have tested have been
