Yes, lemme portray Superman as an idiot who lets psychopathic maniacs continue killing. Yes, it’s cool you like the unbreakable moral bullshit and that’s fine, I respect that. But that’s dumb and anybody else with the same idea is also dumb for letting it continue. I want a Superman that only kills when it is absolutely morally and lawfully justifiable for him to kill the opponent. Such as the Joker. Now imagine not having him turn into a tyrant just because this or that. That would be nice to see for once. A Superman that makes sense. Kills when it makes sense, leaves everyone else alone when it makes sense. Not the “I break like a lil bitch” treatment because they got nothing left because some clown said he was easy mode. Seriously, all these stories are so stupid, just make something that is actually cool and respectable. Nobody is asking for a broken and irredeemable character, it’s not a tall order.

I always wondered how this banishment schtick works to the point where Adam is willing to kill himself over it. To my knowledge the DC universe is frickin packed with alien planets, species, and galaxies. You're telling me Adam is so spiteful that he would rather risk his sanity by tediously flying directly to Earth, or just straight up seppuku himself, rather than just inhabit/conquer a planet he happens to fly by? I can see an argument that maybe Merlin is sending him so far out that Adam just wouldn't pass by a single livable planet, but that seems so far fetched imo

A good answer for you is to look at the video game Elite Dangerous. It's about as big as OUR universe, with new systems and planets being discovered by players every day. If I want to travel from one system to another, the distance is like 6-10 light years. That's just two systems. Lets say black adam can go mach 1, speed of sound. A light year is the distance it would take for light to reach us. The speed of light is 880,000 times faster than sound. Even if black adam was just ONE system away, it would take him thousands of lifetimes. (In case youre curious, in elite dangerous, you have FTL drives and a mechanic called Supercruise which enables you to travel at the speed of millions of miles a second, and obviously jump systems with a jump drive. Even in that game, you could turn off your supercruise and attempt to travel at a normal jet's speed, and your nav computer will tell you it'll take 8 hours in real life to approach a planet from it's outer orbit)

You mature in time thanks to your experiences Black Adam was forced to be alone for thousands of years. If anything the naishment probably made him worse considering humans are social creatures (BA still has the mind of a human) and we will go insane if we have no contact with anyone for too long. @@JamesCPotter13close but no, I've seen multiple vids like this where the captions are 100% normal and the algorithm doesn't put the made for kids mark on it, I'm positive that the creator of the vid just put "fucking" so more little kids would engage with the content by commenting, every comment that says "yo he said fucking" makes the creator money, so i simply think the swear was engagement bait
@CS-om3kj7 ай бұрын
@@pedro-69-k5wYes and no. The swears do add more viewer engagement but regardless of that fact, the only reason you see videos that haven’t been marked is because they can’t easily mark every single one. If you don’t put swears or in the case of that one guy who puts a gory animated scene at the end, it’s only a matter of time before your video is hit with it.

Even for the superhero genre, this edit made it seem way more overwhelming than it should've been. - Villain holds hostage - Hero lets down guard to save hostage - Villain "kills" hostage in the least efficient way possible to teach hero a lesson or something, resulting in another hero saving the hostage AND the hero in trouble - Hero beats down villain and is about to kill - Second hero gives the "No, don't kill, you'll be just like him if you resort to killing" speech - a fucking TALKING TIGER shows up, BANISHMENT, to 10,000 years worth of travel distance for the villain -Villain doesn't want banishment, SUICIDE, by what? AGING themselves, FIVE thousand years into the future, by saying a CATCHPHRASE. - "You have some weird friends", the teenager that just watched a man kill himself by aging rapidly: 😏 I didn't kill him, he killed himself Today I learn Shazam's catchphrase is not to trigger only a transformation but also to age him up.

If super heroes exist the first thing that they will be thought will be a total different moral that mortals are thought. You can’t risk someone who can save thousands in a week, for someone who is a mortal. So they are probably thought to sacrifice few lives to save millions.

That is what makes them (and especially Superman special), if he lost his powers for a day he wouldn't hesitate to jump in front of a car to push a child out of the way. Otherwise they're just playing God because they happen to be stronger than everybody else but instead they just try to be good.
