•Bonnie & Clyde vs. Dracula- While not as awesome as it sounds by title alone, it kinda feels like an oddball Dracula movie and Bonnie and Clyde film that eventually intertwine rather than a true absolutely out there versus film, it's still a lot of fun. The main characters are likable, the relationship and romance between Bonnie and Clyde is surprisingly really well done and really easy to get invested in, the villians, especially the mad scientist responsible for Dracula's ressurection are really entertaining, the writing is surprisingly a bit more clever than you except for a film like this and while a majority the effects are limited by budget (and being digital), there are still some decent deaths in there. It's fun time. Check it out. •They Turned Us Into Killers- A simple straightforward rape-revenge flick made slightly more unique by its non-linear format. After being driven to suicide by the trauma of her date rape at the hands of her abusive boyfriend, Karma's best friend Star and sister Jessie carve their way through those responsible for her death with the help of an older gentleman who has been through this song and dance before. Once again, it doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything, but it's a simple, satisfying revenge flick. •An Angry Boy- For a more comparively unique rape-revenge film, this is it. The survivor of a child abduction by a predatory cult, now a high school senior, finds the horrors of his past coming back to haunt him. After those responsible for his abduction and abuse, kill his mother, he is hellbent on a violent quest of revenge against those who ruined his life twice-fold. While a bit slow paced when it comes to the whole revenge aspect, it is still quite the satisfying revenge flick: the main characters are really likable, the emotional moments are really well done, the plot is well executed and when the revenge happens (while slightly hindered at points by low budget digital effects), it is really satisfying. It is one of my favorites from last year. Check it out!

Always keep post it notes by my laptop so I can jot down your movie recommendations, seen a lot of good ones that I would have otherwise not been aware of. Grew up in Ohio, graduated HS in '89, definitely checking out Heartland of Darkness.

I love these "random" reviews😊. Your voice is very, uhm, what would the word be?🤔 Comfortable, I guess?😄 And I like being introduced to some movies I Haven't seen. Also, the pups you sit for are always a plus!😜🐶

Hey brother been watching for a long time. Love your channel and you always bring alot of love to the films you discuss. You are appreciated. Keep up the great work! Me and the wife watched Death By Dialogue last night. It was a Troma distributed film starring Ken Sagoes who played Kincaid in Elm St 3: Dream Warriors. It was a fun low budget super natural horror flick that I recommend. Ken stole the show as always😂 Any chance for some material on Andy Milligan or Fred Olen Ray. Keep on killing it man!

I’m a big fan of Strange Darling. The unexpected early twist adds a makes the story engrossing. If you liked Titane, you’ll likely find SD just as compelling.

Some good movies I’ve seen in the past few months are Strange Darling, Better Watch Out, and Barbarian. The first 2 are thrillers where as the 3rd is a horror. All worth a watch if you haven’t seen them.

Joko Anwar also directed the Netflix anthology series Nightmares and Daydreams that I quite enjoyed.
