it must have a profound affect right? I think that's one reason why I've always been mystified by the mars volta's music. They're cultural alchemists (Ok, all musicians are to some degree) but I feel they're way much fresher and original, and that's completely because of who they are, and lives they've led.

I love everything Volta… straight up. When I was in my early/ mid 20s this band was my obsession. My wife couldn’t understand the appeal so of course I divorced the pesant lol. I’m not as into music anymore but still my favourite band of all time (followed by early GNR & Zeppelin) and always my go to hype music

TMV is Cedric and Omar, Omar probably has his mind on other things as his mother died recently. That leaves Cedric :)

what are your future plans on playing in more places where you can connect with your latin and hispanic audiences, namely Puerto Rico and Mexico?

Omar & Cedric. Did you think "Noctourniquet" is the most romantic record by TVM?
