As a woman, I KNOW that I am NOT permitted to be a preacher, but I have the drive to know and share with others and loved ones. I know as a woman I can teach other women and raise my children in the way that they should go. Thank you Dr. Lawson for making your lectures available to everyone. Even if you do not have the drive to be a preacher, you can benefit from listening to these lectures to know how to study the Word of God. Scripture in its full context is grounded in truth. Without the truth, it springs forth false doctrine and false gospels. God bless all the future preachers, and may they be the mouthpiece of God! 🙏🏻 ❤

do you know that the first preacher after Jesus is the Samaritan woman ? share to me one Jesus own words that exclude woman to preach and teach the gospel of Kingdom of God?. The prohibition comes from Paul, the preacher of the gospel of Grace of God. So be glad you are excluded to preach the false gospel, but feel free to preach the gospel of Kingdom of God, if you know what to preach.

@@Yeshua89 have you read the parable of the wheat and tare ? the disciples (including Peter) asleep only angels and Jesus knew about the coming of the bad seeds. if the first disciples were on guard, remember Jesus warning "do not believe anybody claimin they see/meet Jesus here or there", "I will go to Father, you will NOT see Me anymore", "I won't leave you as ORPHANs, but will send a companion Holy Spirit", "it's better for me to go, so Holy Spirit can come", Holy Spirit has come why "Jesus" in Spirit need to come back to do ministriy ?, "Love your enemy...", this 'Jesus" made Saul blind!. After Jesus lifted up to heaven, gave Holy Spirit. Father (God) speaks and directs Peter, He told Cornelius to meet Peter, Who is Peter ? everybody knows Peter, he is an authorised disciples of Jesus. He has credibility, in contrast who is Ananias ? noboy knows, no credibility. The interaction between spirit named "Jesus" with Ananias and Saul, do not proof that spirit is genuine Jesus. Why spirit "Jesus" did not instruct Saul to go to Peter ? well... that spirit will have difficult time to convince Peter that accompanied by Holy Spirit, directed by Father. who promote Saul/Paul as servant of God ? the divination spirit and the demons (read Sons of scheva). interestingly they never promote the true disciples of Jesus. why Sons of scheva could not expel the demon but the man who was not disciple of Jesus could ? well the demon again telling lies, the main reason the son of Scheva use the wrong name ".. in the name of Jesus who Paul preach", they refer to the impostor of Jesus name. Jesus allowed the tare to grows inside His kingdom, therefore no further warning or intervention givens, The first disciples only assume Paul preach the same gospel, but they did not adopt and learn from Paul, today, those majority of people who call themselves Christians learn the mix and match of both gospels. the birth of grace of God gospel, exactly fit the tare characteristic. - born after Jesus left - nobody knew (at that time) when it was spread. - grow side by side with Jesus owned Gospel - looks the same, but not actually identical. make a false appearance of following Jesus just the person, not His words delivered by Himself in flesh. - never bear fruit, cause it against doing the will of God for salvation - will keep continue to grow till judgement day, when angels will divide both gospels followers into two. relying on theologians and their bible college won't give you this kind of knowledge, because they rely on man's thinking and immediately fell into the deceptions, only relying on the Holy Spirit does give you the truth. Did Jesus told the disciples that Holy Spirit will lead you to the truth ? the truth that set you free, not your faith in false Jesus.

I have this strong impulsion to hear and hear and hear the word of God over and over and to memorize bible verses. I came across the gospel last April thru some videos of Ray conmfort. Ever since then I question stuff at church I got into learning all these religions and now is learning doctrine. I get this type of fury when I hear verses put out of context at church or when preachers from outside come to preach. That drives me to learn more. At this point I don’t know what to do with these information when I do have it all in paper. I love sharing the gospel and also feel driven to go out and wanting to share it. I can’t wait for this cold to leave so I can go outside and share. I’m unsure if it’s what they call first love or if it’s a calling. In the mean while I’m going to finish watching all these videos, equip myself and keep sharing gospel. God bless

Same here. I knew the gospel but, in pieces. Watching Ray Comfort share it with strangers and using his video recordings to teach others how to share it, had made me realize how those pieces were of the whole of the gospel. From there, it led me to learn way more. :-)

I never knew about expository preaching I thank God for it I knew that only his word should be read spoken in the pulpit but I never thought or would be able to be some place where that was but I’m so thankful for being able to know it assist I haven’t been able to find a church where I’m at I long and pray all the time for a church with expository preaching but I thank the lord being able to have a way to have it in my life thank you minister Lawson

No it does not... that makes no sense, we are born again because of our faith in Christ and His work on the cross, we are given the new heart and the indewlling of the Holy Spirit when we believe... once we have believed the gospel we are sealed by the Father, through the Son with the Holy Spirit

I love these types of videos. Can anyone help me out with something? I hear and read a lot of preachers say " carried the idea of ________" as Dr. Lawson does at around the 54:15 mark. I have heard/read it for English, Hebrew, and Greek words. Is there a certain book or set of books from which this comes? Almost every preacher/writer uses the exact same phrase "carries the idea of...." (I know he says the Oxford-English dictionary here, but they have it for Hebrew and Greek as well)

I took courses entitled "Expository Preaching," but it was false; the "Northern Baptist Lloyd Perry method is topical with some exposition. It focuses on a propostion, asks a question of the prop & uses keywords for the main points -- but is it not exposition = having the sermon follow the contours of the passage.

Laskarides Well, I think that's what you receive if you actually "take" or audit the class. That's why people attend colleges and seminaries and pay for them, it isn't just to get the diploma. It is to get the teaching materials, listen to the lectures, have access to the professor after hours, and also take the exams. If someone pirated all if that and posted all the materials, that would be as bad as stealing. Sign up and see if you can audit the class online.

Yes, one can do an expository sermon on a whole chapter or even a whole book, although the points will be broader and more of an overview. It's still better to pick smaller portions (however, large portions have their value as well).

I don't know where he spoke about the topic, but maybe I could be of some assistance. In my experience, the evidence of a true believer in Christ is that they hate sin. Period. You began to see them actually mourn over the sins they commit and how this clearly contrasts with their past behavior. Also, further evidence is continual confession of sin, repentance, and conformity to sanctification. Obviously, we can't get a sneak peek into their heart, but the external evidence is quite compelling. A clear decrease of improper language, impatience, and inconsideration. And when asked why they are going through all of these drastic behavioral changes, the answer should solely be because of Christ and the dislike of sinning against Him. You have yourself as a model believer. Why do you still believe and continue in the faith? Because of the Holy Spirit within you that empowers you to obey God and deny self. Even when you fall away, you come back with godly sorrow and repentance. That's completely involuntary and not a power of your own. The evidence of a true Christian is that we are compelled to serve God, even when our flesh is compelled to serve satan. I love you very much, God bless

Hi @SnapCracklePapa, perhaps you've already found the answer you were looking for, but I figured I would toss in some extra as this is something I've struggled with significantly as well. The book of 1 John is all about tests of how we can know if we are in the faith. Also, there is a section in Romans 8: [Rom 8:14-16 ESV] 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. If you are led by the Spirit of God to be obedient to his word and have the Spirit crying out to God the Father within your heart, that is the greatest sign that God gives us of our adoption. I don't know of & never sat under any preacher who preached expository sermons. J. Vernon McGee is the closest I have heard, but he is a dead Radio preacher.

very unfortunate. Find a church where the pastor preaches the whole counsel of God.
