@Angelous Bacon To be fair, they're not wrong. If the acting industry really took Gervais' insults and jokes seriously, they would have cut him off after his first appearance. But he gets the public to watch their awards shows (even if its only for the moments that Gervais is on screen) and Gervais gets paid to do it. Nobody is leaving this arrangement feeling surprised or scandalized.

Lastly, if you listen carefully while everyone is reacting to the first 2 Epstein jokes he makes a third. He calls them all out for riding in Epstein's plane. He says they had to get their own ride here.

I've seen about two dozen reactions to this and the Ronan Farrow line always goes over everyone's head. He was the reporter who broke the Harvey Weinstein story. Also he always cracks everyone up so hard with the Epstein line that they miss the next line about all the actors and actresses having to take their own planes this year while they are laughing.
