This was my favorite tv show as a kid growing up, I was going to be just like him..now at 58 I’m still watching out for the monsters..

It's all done on the ipad with garageband. I played all the instruments in GB.

This is really good, and thankfully long enough to enjoy besides the very small intro sequence of the show. Iconic, yet extended and pleasurable. If only the whistling was still included, but this is really well made and definitely stays true to the show that started it all!

This is a great revision of the familiar TV horror series theme. I like what you did with it here. Thumbing up.

If Les Baxter covered the Kolchak theme, this is what you'd get.

Is that "piano" meant to echo the second-hand from the clock in the opening titles?

Is this all sequenced, or are you playing the keyboards and stuff here?

This is actually pretty good so far, not bad. Thanks for the post. Who is the musician and composer that created this?
@shatnershairpiece6 жыл бұрын
Brian Paschal Gil Melle wrote this in 20 minutes while they filmed the opening credits.

@@shatnershairpiece Mr. Gil Melle most certainly and definitely did a great job on the song.

@@shatnershairpiece That's very impressive, it's sounds great but nowhere near as great as the original intro theme.

Are the strings playing a riff in 15/16? I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere
@shatnershairpiece2 жыл бұрын
No. That’s 4/4. Sounds off because the notes after the first note start on the 3.
@williamkjwilliamkj18152 жыл бұрын
@@shatnershairpiece Is that like singing in a round or polymeric or something?
@shatnershairpiece2 жыл бұрын
polymetric? no. you can play any note wherever you want, and most ears anticipate the 1, so you get more drama by playing on the 2,3,4. sometimes a solo will start on a four and continue to the next 2 or end on a 3. you can mix however you want.

Unfortunately missing the important but short Gile Mille electronics- as is the Varase- Sarabin sound track.

You realize I performed this myself? It is impossible to duplicate the original score.
