I finished this game today. The last level was so difficult. Getting enough reputation was the hardest part for me. I had over 1.5 million money and cured thousands of patients. The epidemics were so annoying.

The gp offices work faster if set up in a north-west orientation. Your doctors take 6 steps to filing cabinet instead of the optimal 2. The desk should be in north corner and filing cabinet to the right of it in west corner.

@@DeadRaymanWalking I know a glitch you can use, if you sack someone like a doctor you can re hire them as soon as they go off the map, pause it, the re hire them and you will see that they have perfect attention to detail, I don't know how it affects the game, but it works for me.

This is a life saver!! A little late for me actually as I just beat the final level today, but now the game has a lot more replayability. The biggest chore was actually hovering over the level constantly while on the lookout for degrading machines. By the way, it's a right click on the equipment name in the repair screen to cycle to the next machine. Brilliant!!

Find a good emulator where the game runs smoothly. It is important to your experience. Because I found a bad emulator as the mouse response was not good there, i had to click long clicks and now my hand is aching: (

gotta keep them happy, plants do the job! sometimes they get stuck in their rooms and you have to move them manually for breaks

couple advices: slow down speed when you building rooms, put in-room plants close to the door, so it is fast to water them. btw, it is a nice idea to not create benches for patients, because they are much closer to the door when they stand - i will use it. the only question: isn't it bad for for your reputation (as i always thought)?

Playing without slowing down was part of the challenge, i think i had to pause on earthquakes though, because sometimes there are double earthquakes that blows everything.. and its game over Making benches is terrible at late game(as the reputation grows, patient quantity grows too), even with corridors full of them i had patients going to other building's benches because the queue was too long and by the time they came back other patients would become angry. So i just played as the game forced me to. Plants close to the door is a good idea, i never thought about that.

Why do you assume that the plants have any positive effects on anything? Having plants nearby doors is a micro optimization vs plants in random locations, having no plants at all is a macro optimization. Yes, the game tells you they are good. But, the good old testing approach has proven that wrong. If you can find positive correlation between having a plant and a positive feature, I'm all eyes.

@@IceToneGaming Sorry I've sounded quite rude 11 months ago lol. I'm just saying that I speedrun this game and have tested and found out that plants have no impact. That's why I was interested to hear how the first guy who replied you got into the conclusion that they are good next to doors. Did he test it or was it their belief about the game? when moving the cursor on top of the machines a strength stats shows up on bottom right, it works as a defensive stat that decay over time, when it is too low like around 5, the machine can be hitkilled even if you repair it to full hp depending on the earthquake power, so you actually need to replace it when it has low strength.

for some reason i just remembered this question, i actually didn't research/build them because you don't actually need them to diagnose, if i remember correctly when they took too long to diagnose there would be more cases of patient dying, if i had all the diagnostic rooms there would be much more distance between rooms. Also something tells me(im not sure) that there was also some issue in the queue, if the same patient keeps going back to the GP office, they would keep stacking and some never talk to the doctor(but i think that would be solved with more gp offices but i never built too many of them).

All the emergency stuff should go in the middle and as close as possible to the helicopter pad. Also the plants are totally unnecessary. Just big rooms with happy staff and patients.

Katching! thats the big secret no one ever asked! when you click the machine, in the bottom right there is a "strenght", it degrades over time/use if its too low before an earthquake it will be instantly destroyed, if i remember correctly it needs to be 6 or higher. Some machines have very low default strenght and require more attention.

when you click a machine a window pop up. in this window it shows a number and a bar. the number you can ignore, as it doesn't say much. the dark gray shows the "health" of the machine, so when its health gets low you repair. ALSO, when u put your mouse on the top of a machine, in the bottom right of the screen(the place that shows employers tiredness) will apear a strenght, when strenght gets low you need to replace. The strenght is like a defence status, as it decays the machine will take more damage. If an earthquake strikes when the strenght is low, it will be instantly destroyed no matter how high the "health" is.

how come your employees did not complain constantly about a raise, when i play hard mode their happiness meters go from full to empty in seconds, i even tried putting their tiredness level to 30% to go to rest, nothing helps

Place 2-3 receptions to avoid stacking up Build 3-4 GP office by the entrence to reduce queue Build most of the diagnose rooms in the first building of entry to minimize walking around. Build the toilet in the first building. Ward, Training, Research, Staff room in the furthest away building. Build most rooms as small as possible. Build 2 rooms of the most common treatment (such as Pharmacy) next to each others. Swap rooms when there is an emergency, swap back when emergency is over. Train a ridiculous amount of doctors. Start sacking when training is complete. Continiously replace nurses and handymen as better becomes available for hire. Lots of benches. Lots of vending machines. Lots of plants. Lots of handymen. Give each a special assignment. Place plants as close to the door as possible inside a room. Max out your loans in the beginning. Repay your loans as soon as possible. Never trust your handyman to stop machines from eventually exploding. Occasionally remove your machine rooms completely and immediately rebuild them again to reset its health.
