I'm always so amazed at how Molly and Alan are such adventurous eaters. Re: Chopsticks - People are rubbing the wood splinters off the eating end of the chopsticks. No one wants a splinter in their mouth. Slide one chopstick end over each section of the other one to remove splinters and repeat on the other side. In the old days cheap wood was used and when you split the chopsticks apart it would shatter so you'd have to clean it up.

Addressing the chopsticks thing: when break apart wooden chopsticks there are splintered pieces of wood. You want to rub those ends together to smooth it out so that you don’t give yourself a splinter!

My wife is Japanese and we had our kids in Japan and raised them there before relocating to the US. I took them to Cowfish and they all absolutely loved it! We loved that Double Bacon Cheese burgushi! And fyi, in Japan it's not polite to whisk our chopsticks together. I think that's just an America thing where people were afraid of getting splinters :)

We rode on the Phoenix float on March 3! So fun we highly recommend doing it! We took my MIL for her first trip to Universal Orlando and we were celebrating her 82 birthday. Riding on the float in the parade was a highlight of the trip. We didn’t plan it, we just happened to be walking by and they announced they were dropping 80 spots for the parade and we were able to get 6 spots! So fun!!

Hey molly, long time fan here from Australia. I'm looking at going up there for a "bucket list" tour with the family and going to both universal and Disney world with some other stops along the way (medieval times) over two weeks. Big question is where to stay for those two weeks. Would you recommend staying at one for two weeks and going to each parks (if so which one for a large family of five) or do we stay at a few different ones? Not dating this would be a video idea but maybe a ranking system?
@jesseleboeuf2315 Жыл бұрын
the reason y’all were dressed like knights is bc you technically are! In New Orleans, each parade is run by a Krewe (a club you pay to be a part of) and prior to Mardi Gras each Krewe holds a ball where members are assigned roles in a court, with the most honored member being named King! Since y’all are newbies, you would be knights:) #themoreyouknow

Molly if you don’t love sushi fish, try eel. Eel rolls taste like teriyaki and it doesn’t have that rubber or slimy feeling that most people don’t like.
