When it says it's busy, I think it's because of all the declined orders... just a theory. The low pay / long mileage declined orders. IF you have ended your - and then get back on there... they will send the same ones you declined again

I'm really enjoying your videos, I get to the Pinellas County beaches a couple of times a year to vacation (Indian Rocks and Pass-a-Grille are my favorites), and those sunsets! I would love to live there someday. I'm an older guy, 62, recently retired, and I'm just starting DoorDash here in Dallas, TX to help with the bills. I've only done one dash so far, but I got my welcome bag today, so here I go I guess! I'm really nervous about starting, but your videos have really helped. Thank you for showing the good and the bad sides about this job!

just a friendly tip....take a picture of every single delivery. ESPECIALLY if it's a "Hand to Me" delivery. You don't have to take a picture of the customer if they don't want to be in it, just the bag with them holding it. And two common scams are scammers calling you pretending they are DoorDash and needing you to email them your account password to reset it. Hang up the phone and contact Doordash support. And the other scam is the customer trying to change the address when you are on your way to deliver. Contact support again. Not sure if her videos have covered those topics already and I know you didn't ask, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

So I tried and went out again, and the entire bottom of my car fell off scraping the road. So that was my day😭 guess I’ll try again tomorrow😭💀

I haven't been able to dash at all since January. My area has been greyed out almost all the time. I think I've done a total of four deliveries since the new year

Have you tried scheduling yourself? I have to stay up until midnight or set my alarm at 11:58 pm in order to schedule myself. Even then there had been times I couldn't get on. I think it also depends on your acceptance rating. I think it has to be over 70% to dash whenever. Please don't quote me on that.

Hi ya!! Just wondering if you ever tried noise canceling headphones for your son? Might help. Interestingly enough I saw your video where you had a grocery store shop and no delivery. I have had 2 of them. It was nice to see you do it first. The pay for those are pretty decent especially at winn dixie where the app has aisle numbers. Easy peazy!! Take care of yourself. I used to suffer from same pain on left side. My trick is to put both feet on ground before standing. It takes longer but my back and left leg don't hurt as much after a 5 HR shift

re getting out of the car a physical therapist gave me a trick . Swing both legs out you don't have to touch the ground then press on the top of the right leg till it touches the ground and yipee you are out.

So if you have one leg shorter than the other purchase a couple of Adjust a Lifts and try them out. My right is 1cm shorter than my left, Solved my hip pain issue. I still go to the chiropractor for adjustments, I've had sciatica a couple times, not fun!! Of course I am not a doctor so ignore if you want :)

When you drive the starting and stopping can make pain in your leg from the gas pedal because it's competitive. And you are starting and stopping all the time and that put pressure on your leg

I got that info email the first time I ashes about the large order program. I tried again and asked how to get on the wait list. The info email mentioned a wait list. Got an invite when I asked that question.

If customer requests you hand it to them you do not in the app, but I take a personal picture of the home showing address just in case.

Pro tip. If you want to grow your audience, don’t title your vids with clickbait or tired cliches all gigtubers are using.

You should be using a thermal bag for your deliveries. If you handed me an order that you did not come from a thermal bag then I would refuse the delivery and report you to door dash. I know many drivers that have been deactivated for that reason. Take a little pride in the job that you do and maybe smile a little bit. You are in the customer service sector.

I always use a thermal bag for every delivery. Actually, I have 5 of them in my car. And for your information, I give damn good customer service. Perhaps you should know what you're talking about before you leave a stupid comment on someone's video.

False information. I'm new to dashing and I'm still waiting on my thermal bag from doordash. I use my personal bag, but FYI doordash doesn't require you to have one. They told me I could dash without it.
