I was Top Dasher in November, which was nice for the Dash Now feature. BUT, I changed Markets (from FL to RI) and my AR dropped by the end of the month. So, what I'm doing now is scheduling myself everyday in 3 or 4 hour blocks back to back. That way if I decide not to dash during a certain time I delete the block. Working for me so far. 😁

You are exactly correct in that when you take the crap orders you will be sent more of them in the future. You are training/teaching the DD algorithm (artificial intelligence) that you are willing to do them... therefore the app will continue to send them to you.

I am at 67% and I have about 11 days or so to get it up there. Good for you for sticking it out. It’s hard on us that need top dasher. I guess the one bright spot is the no tip orders are usually low miles but it’s still annoying. I do respect the hustle. Keep doing you.

You are crazy as heck. Value your time, I often wonder who in the world accepts these garbage orders. Most of the people I know have acceptance rates of 1-10%. I don't hit accept on any order below $6 period, and I rarely take any orders over 7 miles unless the are tipping nicely. I manage to keep my earnings around $22-26hr. If we all refuse to accept these no tip offers, the customers will have to start tipping better to get their food delivered to them. I feel for the customers because these restaurants are charging them delivery fees (usually $5-7) to begin with which I think is absolutely bogus, all they do is pack the food up, WE are the ones spending time, fuel, car wear and tear to bring the food to them, 100% of delivery charges and tips should rightfully be ours.

They want to meet at door cause they know you know there is no tip and you might just snatch up their order. I took one last night that wasn’t too bad. $8 but then a huge long spiel about how to get to their place and sorry it was hard to find. If you know your house is hard to find and order you doing it on purpose. They stand out there and like watch you fumble. 😠

I had a message once that was in the app under the address. “I don’t tip for food that goes MIA”. They didn’t know I was a professional. I think they tipped me even more. I was going to write, I am sorry you are bad experience. 😂

They said they would send you an email for you to fill out paperwork so keep an eye out for an email. check spam also. Or the contract violation might not go away. Do yo only do door dash? you should try uber deliveries. I think they are better and no acceptance penalties... I cherry pick and i make 200 a day for 6 hours. 3 lunch and 3 dinner.

Just curious, what's the point of getting screwed by taking every order to get your acceptance rate up over 70 to be able to do "dash now" but then when you're able to "dash now" you are probably going to go back to cherry picking to make better money which would drop your acceptance rate back down under 70?? Or does it stay up for a while after you get above 70 and become a top Dasher?

This is only my second month as top dasher, so I don't have a lot to go on, but it seems that the first day of cherry picking again you'll get a bunch of crappy ones but once you keep declining them you get less. My market is very saturated. It's difficult to get a dash now or to even schedule and I'm on waiting lists for the other apps at the moment. I feel as though it's worth it to have a couple of crappy days to be able to dash whenever I want for the rest of the month. Just my opinion.

In my experience if you continue to take no tip orders or even low dollar orders that's all they're going to send you for the most part

It's not worth it to take orders that are below your operating costs. It's at least 50 cents per mile of wear and tear on a car. Consider a moped or scooter. You need to make at least ~$5 per order to not be in negative income with wear and tear, maintenance, heath care, etc. Remember you're running a self-employed business, not a charity, right? Don't let your work cost you money.

I can’t blv how they are taking advantage of you! Please sign up for multiple apps so you can turn them all on and take the best order high paying and low mileage are the top ones. Make these apps work for you & not the other way around. Doordash is on a schedule bases which is controlling I do t like that so I only turn on when I want to. Otherwise I’m working all my other apps and reaping the best from all 👍🏼 Also, your title does not match your video at all. It’s like reading a book with a subject big being elaborated on. Maybe you could have communicated how your reaching your goals by using apps to clear debt other than that it’s pretty misleading.

. I wouldn’t do them for any ratings, and, on Nicholas B., I would have cancelled it, as soon as he messaged that, although, some McDonald’s could improve. I have been suckered a few times w a double order (one high tip, no tip, and the orders were no longer defined). I would set the bag by just far enough out they have to step out on those no tips. It does surprise me how proud they are to show their non tipping faces 🤡, on other apps, sometimes you can not tell because of the pay, and it although, it is different when the company is compensating, I still do not like those or 📍orders because it is a good guess who will pull something or mess w your ratings. I never trust those ones.

It has been proven on multiple channels now that acceptance rate doesn’t matter and you can still get trash orders even if you have a 70% percentage or higher acceptance rate. I would recommend checking out Pedro Doordash Santiago’s channel for this information. It would be a better idea to try joining the Large Order Program and Pizza programs in your area because that’s where the higher paying orders are. With Top Dasher, you could make more money but there will always be a period where you will have to take trash orders to keep qualifying. Just sharing the info and likewise whatever you decide to do I hope it works out for you.

@@VBGigLife I understand and I apologize if I sounded angry. I believe I misinterpreted your tone when you made the comment about back seating but I meant no disrespect in what I was saying. When this video was initially made a few months back, there were a lot of dashers on KZbin arguing about the pros and cons of Top Dasher. Every market is different but we definitely can agree now that being able to dash anytime is a huge benefit so I understand exactly why a high acceptance rate is important. No arguing and no bad guy here. We are good and definitely in agreement. Once again my apologies if I sounded mad, but we are cool and I hope you have a great evening.
