I wish they’d make Goofy a Captain too! We saw Seas the Adventure on the Wish and Goofy was a brilliant captain. It will be a fun ship with Goofy in command. I’ve been suggesting it to DCL. I hope they consider.

@@ThemeParkExpress True. There are some other notable repeated root words. Freedom: Royal and Carnival. Liberty: Royal and Carnival. Star: Royal and Norwegian . Splendour/Splendor: Royal and Carnival. Pride*: Norwegian and Carnival (sort of - PRIDE of America) But it is interesting that with Royal, Norwegian and Carnival having more than 20 ships each in their fleets Carnival and Disney still have the most overlap with Fantasy, Dream, Magic and Destiny. And a full 6 of their 8 ships will share names with another (Adventure and Wonder both also being Royal ships) - which is definitely a higher rate than anyone else. Does this mean anything? Heck no. It's just fun data 😋

My very first cruise was Carnival fantasy and I just sailed 2 weeks ago on Disney fantasy. 2nd cruise was Carnival Destiny. I've also been on Disney wonder and magic.

I’ll be honest, I hate the name. And I’m less enthused about the heroes and villains theme (but Hercules, oh man that may be my Achilles heel). Never done a Triton Class (I’m waiting for a 7 day itinerary to get my head around the new layout with enough time) and I’m aching for some Star Wars representation on this ship! Double Marvel, but no Star Wars?! (I’ll give the Treasure a pass because she’s got a bunch of Disney park vibes and let’s be real, beyond the ships, that’s my vibe.)
