Monsters Unchained... Forbidden Journey already scares me and I LOVE all the villains coming after you in Spider-Man. This feels similar and they've got the track record for monsters from HHN. Disney also seems nervous about it given now they're doing villains land which makes me think it has to be good.

Monsters Unchained. Though seeing Imelda Staunton waving toodle-oo as she is wisked away (18:26 in video) cracks me up and makes me think Battle for the Ministry could challenge the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man for the most fun you can have on a dark ride.

It's kind of an unspoken requirement in Florida theme parks. They need plenty of shade from a merciless sun that hits hard for most of the year. It's a shame the most famous of the central Florida theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Disney decided to cut down a bunch of trees especially in the central hub area in front of the castle to improve fireworks viewing. It's kind of miserable to walk through there in the worst of summer days.

It's honestly incredible how fast construction progress for Epic Universe has been between every update! It's so close to being a reality now, that it's unreal. I was happy to see Dixie Kong be confirmed for the Donkey Kong area, and all the Wizarding World ride's queue looks incredible!

I always loved Dixie as a kid, but I grew up playing Donkey Kong Country and then Donkey Kong 64, where I really connected with Tiny. I sometimes wish Tiny wasn’t in that game and that it was just Dixie instead. Later on, I got an old SNES and played DKC2, and I was struck by how much I wished Tiny had just been Dixie. It made me wonder why they even created Tiny in the first place!

That's so cool that Universal got the Actress who played Umbridge to reprise her role! I am glad she's still alive too. Umbridge may be the most detestable char in the HP saga, but the actress did such an excellent job portraying her. I heard she's actually a big sweetheart hehe. I bet she had fun recording and doing all of those little stunts.

Hi Alicia! I had previously posted regarding the Ministry ride size being about 150,000 sq ft. Now that I know how the ride portions are delineated based on your video it appears that the queue/atrium section will comprise about 56,000 sq ft of the space and the actual ride portion is about 93,000 sq ft. I don't know of any other show building at Disney or Universal that is this massive!

When Universal uses the expansion pad between Donkey Kong Country and Dark Universe, I hope they create an indoor "always night" mini-land for Luigi's Mansion accessible from Donkey Kong Country but then conceals the show building from Dark Universe by creating a dramatic mountain range and Dracula's Castle backdrop looming over dark universe. A mountain range along the south and extending along the west side of Dark Universe (possibly concealing Creature From the Black Lagoon show building) would also cast a shadow over the land (i.e., toward late afternoon) enhancing the spooky vibes.

I really hope the ministry of magic ride utilizes a good amount of physical props and animatronics. I love the forbidden journey ride but i feel like universal relies too much on screens sometimes and hopefully they can get away from that with epic universe. Really looking forward to the monsters unchained ride as well. The theming for that and HP ride should be top notch.

The park continues to look so exciting. I'm glad people are excited about the HP land cuz to me, even as a big Harry Potter fan, I was least excited for it until hearing the ride is set after the original films. That does make it more exciting/interesting: but I would have liked to see a park without HP as a land. Still, there is something for everyone here I can hardly say I'm disappointed! I hope their upkeep is good with this park because the lands are truly beautiful. Disney use to beat them on themeing, rides for everyone, animatronic usage, and especially upkeep. Keeping things looking/running new. I would love for them to beat Disney on all fronts. Make Disney change how they've been operating under Iger.

It's just amazing how much of Epic Universe already feels complete, so many individual elements that look like they could be ready to go within a month (even if there are still plenty of bare spots that need concrete or painting). At this point, that summer opening deadline almost feels a bit conservative with the pace they're going. I could almost imagine a spring opening if not for the extensions to Kirkman Road. Either way, I'll still be watching for these updates like a hawk until opening day, so keep up the good work!

I wonder to what extent Universal is aware of these updates via bioreconstruct, alicia stella, and others? but mainly you, alicia. Like obviously they want your content to build hype for the die hards like us or even the occasional curious general public. On the flip side what was building IOA like before drones and content creation? They completely controlled the narrative. Maybe photo leaks from construction workers on forums. I feel like I already know more fine details about Epic Universe verses parks I've been visiting for decades just because of how thorough these updates are. Visiting for the first time is going to be interesting. Also makes me wonder how much the tarps, scaffolding, temporary walls, etc. are there due to construction needs and weather proofing or more like we know y'all are watching and we aren't ready for you to see this yet.

Oh they are well aware of what Alicia does...but I think there's plenty of stuff nobody knows about that we'll all get to see when the park opens next year. Most of the stuff we see are from visuals and permits...not everything can be figured out by those, unless someone internally leaks it out.

I think Studios need to keep Mummy. It is the best coaster there. Plus there is a rumor Rip Ride Rocket is going away. So only Gringotts would be left.
