Being from the U.S., we discovered Europapark from your channel in 2016. We loved it so much that we've been during Easter, summer and fall. Our next hope is to go during Christmastime to experience the different decorations. EP truly is the best theme park we've been to so far. The food, theming and rides blow Disneyland out of the water.

Thanks to you guys making me aware of this amazing park I have been to Europa Park 3 times in the last 2 years but never at Christmas. The park is fantastic all year around but at Christmas it looks at another level. Definitely going back there for the festive season next year. And I have to agree with your comment about the souvenirs etc. It`s the only thing that they could take lessons on from the parks in Florida. They are missing out on what could be a huge cash stream.

I went on that Bob sled coaster on a school trip to Germany in 1988. Europa park was brilliant, looks like it's had a massive transformation since that school trip. The only souvenir I came home with was chickenpox 😂

The bobsleigh used to have an extra helix in the layout! When they built the Swiss village, the final helix was removed to create room and the brake run was extended to connect it back up again :) Some historic pics online!!

Something special they offer is Hallowinter. It's the time they put up the Christmas stuff and take down the Halloween decorations. They used to close for some weeks, but now they are open during the whole process. It depends on when you go, but the mix of Halloween and Christmas decorations is very special. But I'd still recommend going in the Christmas season to get the full Christmas experience. I love being there!

The staff and operations really make the experience here. Went here in august and it was super busy. But everything was open, everything ran on maxiumum capacity, the coasters all were on 3 -4 trains and the staff worked their behinds off to fill every single seat, so those queues were moving. Dont think ive waited longer than 30 mins for anything, which was nothing short of a mircale with those crowds.

I have never really visited any other park than Europa-Park, and if I am there and queue times are over 40 minutes, I would call it a bad day in terms of queue times. It just has so many attractions that at the end of the day you still did a lot but also missed so much. In terms of queue times, Europa-Park somehow has a different standard than any other park I sometimes look up queue times for; for example, Disney World, and they are really high on a normal day where Europa-Park has an average of 10-minute queue times.

As an American, seeing a vlog from this park versus a vlog from Alton towers seems night and day. This park by eye-test could compete with Disney/Universal imo. Very beautiful park. Interesting that you love the back row of Silver Star when I found it to be underwhelming weak floater in the summer! But then my front row ride the next day felt a bit more ejector! But I did have more airtime room on the front so it wasn't a true "scientific" comparison

i love all the lights but for me it is too cold, so i prob will not go in winter...I sit in a mobility scooter so i do not get warm because i do not walk. So for me it is too cold..But the operations (disability entrance) for people like me in Europapark are absolutely fantastic! Last sept we went and it was AMAZING. Usually i can't make it till the end of the day, but i did last september because of the short waiting times and short walks to the attraction..You know me i love the Efteling (mainly because of nostalgic reasons) but i have to say Europapark is catching up fast.

I agree with you that our theme parks are not doing nearly enough for Christmas, I am sure that Blackpool and Alton could easily be 365 parks. Blackpool could do full and half day admissions as well as non rider to get people in, I remember when they used to be open at night and it was packed, they could not have open admission now because of anti social behaviour but they could do longer opening hours. People would accept that the rides may have to close at times for maintenance, as long as they were clear as to which rides were closed and when. We are less cold over hear than in Germany, its just rainy over hear.

you missed one of the best things in the park in this season ;) in the "Irland" part in the "Lindt Shop" you can get a hot chocolate. You can chose between white, dark and milk chocolate. I'm from switzerland ;) and i can tell - its really one of the best hot chocolates i've ever had ! you have to try that
