I think you hit the nail on the head as to why Europa keeps winning the golden ticket, there's so much variety that you don't see in parks over here, along with incredible theming, you literally feel like you're in the countries that the areas are based on. I totally agree, these theme parks are definitely unique jam packed of endless adventurous fun with so many attractions shows as well our UK theme parks would benefit enhance their potential to invest some inspiration from the European parks.

@@punkykarooney2912 if I were designing a theme park in the UK, it'd have themed areas that celebrate UK culture so you can learn stuff at the same time. So there'd be an area based around the Arthurian legends, there'd be an industrial themed area, etc

I went for my first ever visit in June ( thanks to Shawns travel guide) and I can honestly say EP is absolutely brilliant. There is literally something for everybody. The theming and all over all look of the park is second to none.

Love this vlog. Europa park is my favourite park. The POVs with the go pro are great too. Cheers me up feeling more like I’m on the rides when I’ve been in bed Ill for a few days. We went 9 years ago now and it looks like there are so many more rides. Can’t go on rides for a while due to being pregnant now but would love to take our little one here in the future. Top tip for Charlotte - make sure you dry your poncho out before you put at away to prevent smells and mould.

For some odd reason I really like Volo Da Vinci. Always thought it was amazing how they took that space in between the italian area and the german rides a bit further down and just put this fun aerial ride all over it. And hasn't it aged beautifully with all the ivy all over the supports! Every time I'm on that ride I feel like the whole package, the rides below, the willows, the added theming, all of that was just waiting for this ride (if that makes sense?) to come along and complete the area. Much fun.

Fantastic vlog Shawn and Charlotte. Out of all your fabulous vlogs this Europa Park one has been my favourite. The park is so beautiful and laid back. I’ve looked at other comments on here and I agree with others we should have a park like this in the UK. I know everyone goes on about Alton Towers or Thorpe Park but this one truly is special. At 1:00 I agree with you about the flooring and how some of our parks lack this so it’s nice to see so much theming and beautiful lay out at Europa. Naughty Shawn was that a swear word at 14:52. Seriously though well done guys I loved it👍😎

EP really is like no other park in the world. You're fully immersed the whole time you're there, as the theming is incredible! The weather is WAY better than at home btw! It's gorgeous all summer long. Yes, you get an odd rainy day, but its nothing like the UK. Look at the weather you're getting right now, and it's the end of Sept!

Even though I missed meeting you. It was a nice trip. And the video keeps me smiling :) Little fun fact: Geisterschloss is about to get a retheme with a unique story again. Right now it is mixed with random animatronics and Happy Family. They want to go back to the haunted Medici Family story. The undead Ghost Hunter in the entrance hall belongs to the Adventure Club of Europe and is the first step into the retheme. This was confirmed by two coworkers from EP who have their own youtube channel. Furthermore I think the park was deserted for two reasons. The regulations and there were no holidays in Germany, France and Switzerland. Thats why I love to go in September. Low queue times and nice weather. :)

Great vlog from the great Europa-Park! About your stinking poncho, you always have to unfold it and hang it out to dry overnight, otherwise the lingering moisture might lead to mildew or mold. You might be able to remove that with a bit of white vinegar and warm water though.

Shawn, how does the Bob bahn compare with the one at Blackpool? Also, if you enjoy Alpine type rides, then maybe in the future you should look at somewhere like Pottenstein near Bayreuth. Couple of decent brewpubs in the village too. Could be something to combine with the Munich October-Fest and the fair there, if you can afford the rides?

Did you count all the things to visit in Epcot at the All Around The World little shops with DIY stuff that normally would be done by the storepeople? (Mexico vs Japan, Japan has more interactive items in their shop than Mexico but hen Mexico has the 3 Caballeros-ride and while it os rated very low generally I actually loved it. A quiet boatride for 10 minutes with my favorite Donald all over, I just find it so cute and a little surprisd as it is so hidden, "attractions" ,immersions etc. Just wondering :) as I see why you wouldn't. AK seems more of a theater park with shows derived from movies such as Lion King. Count the People Mover? Stitch's Weird Ass Escape? Monsters Inc Laughing Ground? But it does seem there are more rides and attractions in 1 park for real.

I went to blackpool yesterday for the late night riding! It was great, 4 rides on ICON, 2 on the big one and got on all the coasters apart from Nickelodeon streak and blue flyer!

The Water Park was meant to be built in the mid 80's, but didn't have enough time as they had other rides/attractrions that had a deadline so had to be put n hold-It was then meant to be built in the 90's by 1996- research in the ’90s, + they were asking the guests what they would prefer it to be,” says Kreft von Byern. “Over 60% said a waterpark. But in our discussions with guests, we also asked ‘What do you mean by waterpark? Is it a sauna and spa, where the Germans like to relax, or a themed fun waterpark? Should it be indoors or outdoors? We decided that a themed indoor park would be the best fit for our hotel resort.” But then some of the board couldn't agree on the storyboards on it etc-so then got put on hold again. 🙄😡 Was sooooooooooo happy when it was finally being built in late 2016
