Was at Drayton on Monday with the family - it's such a lovely park, especially when you have kids under 1.4m with you as there's such a good selection of rides - Gold Rush is an absolutely perfect addition to the park, fun for all the family! Compared to the 2hr+ queues at Alton Towers it was nice to only wait 25-30 mins for the most popular rides too.

We missed you by a day! Went to the fireworks event yesterday and it was great fun! First time on Gold Rush and due to breakdowns when we were queueing we ended up having a night ride, which was epic! My six year old little boy loved The Wave! Drayton is a great park now. (They just need to bring back Pirate Adventure!)😀

Been twice to Drayton this year , previous to that was when Apocalypse opened so that must be 30 odd years ? Anyway i was really impressed , it’s not always about the fastest and tallest rides, there was a good selection and we was there from opening to close , it’s a small park so good on your legs compared to Alton , we had a really good day out both times we visited , the Zoo was a bit poor i thought tho, will be back next year !

I was there for it last night I only got on gold rush and accelerator at night we queued nearly an hour and a half for gold rush because it broke down and we’re only queued 10 mins for accelerator because we ran to it after fireworks.

Hey Shawn have you heard about the Thomas Train it had derailed few weeks ago and apparently some of the coaches have been damaged and so the train hasn’t been running for ages. Which might be a problem as apparently the Thomas Train is meant to be hosting one of the Christmas events this year.

The reason there was no lights might have been in preporation for the fireworks so notice the lights came back on after the fireworks.

If Charlotte still can not ride, due to her bad back. I would like Shawn in a survival situation where he has to hunt his own meat and then Charlotte cooks and tries the meat. Or order exotic meat and try Kangroo,Zebra and Crocodile and film the reactions of eating the food like in burger or sausage form.

It is surprising that parks in the uk have all this permanent lighting and most of the time the parks are only open until 5 or 6pm and only really use the lighting during Halloween and Christmas. Around the park I'm not really a fan of the lightning around the park how most of the lights are just white. The wave needs to have a mix of blues and a bit of yellow Wild West area needs to be orange with a mix of reds and some yellow/little bit gold coloured Adventure cove mix of different shades of blues and a little bit of yellow The only bit that should be white is around the rapids and storm force ten mainly for safety just in case but then or have light blues Thomas land was in my opinion the worst for the lightning it needs to be a mix of colours like reds greens blues Drayton manor can happily hire me to do their lighting around the park Sorry for the long comment

Not a fan of this park pretty poor line up. Good for smaller kids the coasters are pretty poor sorry. Thor was probably the most fun. Whats going on with no queue time on entrance to rides? Never seen that before. They have a main queue board which I really didn't like

The direction that Drayton are going is great to see. Had lots of investment in the park. It’s been a successful year for Drayton. In terms of thrills. That’s not the direction Drayton is going. It’s more of a family park. That’s why you don’t see rides like a nemesis or a smiler. If you are wanting those thrills then it’s Alton or Thorpe for that
