To be fair lewis seems to be trying to get the guy to hold....... Lewis has no problem winning by default like this which is why he is so boring. IMO Lewis seems to want him to get docked for holding... lewis comes right in and on top basically tellign the guy to hug him.... Giving him little choice. Case in point Akinwande walking back while lewis walking forward as if to manipulate the ref into thinkin it's akinwande not releasing..... 33:53 then he gets a warning for not stepping back.... Lewis is 100% doing this on purpose knowing that akinwande is gonna get in trouble. I've seen worse holding by round 3 than in this fight.

This was Lewis's strategy against most big men: it worked well against Derek Williams, Akinwande, Michael Grant, and Golota; not so well against Vitali and Mavrovic, who were so tough that they could take Lewis's bombs; and eventually against Shannon Briggs, who had a good chin and power but was ground down by Lewis.
