Haha I bet right! I’m guessing you mean Will and not me haha! Will seems to be doing a hello of a lot of press these days which is fantastic man. You gotta hustle and get the word out there, still I hope that you enjoyed the chat and that it was nice and interesting. Means the world that you even checked it out :)

Couldn’t agree more man. Honestly some of the moments at the end of Dancing Like Flames just floor me. What a truly fantastic end to a record. I’m so stoked to see what Lorna Shore have got in store for the future. Thank you for checking out the video and I hope you enjoyed it!

I could listen to will chat for hours, guys just a fun guy to listen go. Seems chill as hell and kind, very humble and a huge fan of the music itself. You sometimes see musicians lose that sort of "fan" aspect, then you got people like Will, Caleb from Beartooth, Chris from Motionless, who seriously remain such fans of music and their contemporaries. But damn... Will got some amazing shit going on vocally and writing wise. Very excited to see as his career continues

When impostor syndrome says "hi" you just kick it in the head. I'm not listening much to music with harsh vocals. Pain Remains though is the best album for me since _forever_ and I can't stop listening to it. An incredible word of art!

Such an awesome interview man, you did a great job! Love how there's so much to the album thematically, the lyrics and the atmosphere of the songs packs even more of a punch with the overarching lore and context in mind! Also would absolutely love to hear more of Will's clean vocals on future tracks, glad to hear they're not ruling it out, his singing voice is bomb and deserves to be heard.
@VoltSlash2 жыл бұрын
Will on clean vocals, saying "The rest of the band don't want it".... Except Adam said that now that the vocalist can actually sing, he's not opposed to it. It's on KZbin, caught in 4k. It's basically confirmed :v

When i was listening to the record i was suprised to hear a sound effect from Sekiro and then at the end of the last song on the album the sound of fire from the Dark Souls series, it was unexpected but pleasant to hear for someone who enjoys the From Software's games. Cool to understand that Will is probably a fan too! Also thank you for you work, it was nice to listen to!

Is the Sekiro sfx in the finale like the bonfire? I'm not that familiar with that game, even though the final fight still makes me sweat, months later.

Hey there Eli! Thank you so much for the kind words. It always means a lot when people are thankful and appreciative of the time it takes to put this together. Considering we did this interview at 20:00 on Monday evening I think the turnaround might be my quickest to date! I had no idea about the sound effects that were used too. It sounds like it’s been really interesting but I hope you enjoyed the video and learnt even more about Pain Remains! Also what do you make of the record? Thanks again!

I couldn't agree more, there's a lot of love for his cover of Sleep Token and I think that with the cleans it would really add a new dimension to Lorna Shore's palette and really bring their game even higher than before. Being an artist, we are always our own worst critics. We tend to look at our body of work and see or hear only the mistakes. Truth is most people don't see or hear the mistakes. And at some point our "mistakes or errors" become our style.

I wasn’t a fan of Lorna shore till wills ep and frankly I think wills writing sticks with me the most is it has made me feel emotions the metal community hasn’t made me feel in over a decade honestly it made me fell sorrow anger exceptance like all these werid things mixed in with epic orcastra peace’s like literally a metal song has never made me head bang and cry at the same time till will it’s a werid experance and I honestly think emotional and concept wise this has to be by far one of Lorna shores best albums for that experance I was getting extreamly bored with just angery guterals etc I was loosing intrest in American metal as a hole glad will is willing to take risks and try something different that most metal bands won’t try
