In hindsight, it looks really bad: intrigues, manipulation, ego clashes etc. BL won of course, drinking less than CH, and being more grounded overall. A better writer also. It was a power struggle and CH lost. On the other hand, CH must have been hell to work with. His complaints can be filed together with the complaints of other fuckups in the rock business. BL made great music without CH. CH didn't do the same without BL. End of story. I do love CH:s playing. He is soo underrated. A true rocker, with a massive expression.

@@kimlarsson7259 that is really sad. Brothers with a dream and a vision end up hating each other because of money. It’s also why reunions are difficult, when a founding member leaves, he won’t get paid shit if he decides to return. You must be desperate for money if you accept.

The sounds started to go when first Randy left then Chris left and WASP sounded different. A good different on a lot of them but still not the original. I prefer the very original with Tony Richards on drums. The sound he created on the debut. Amazing!! Although Steve Riley did a half decent job taking over it just wasn’t the same. Just like Guns N Roses with Steven Adler and Matt Sorum. 2 different styles but still both amazing drummers

Love you guys. Love Chris as well. That said: Chris is lying through his (remaining) teeth. He is complaining about being 'screwed' on publishing for the first 4 albums. The problem? Most of those songs were written when he wasn't even in the band! You can listen to the first W.A.S.P. demos! Those feature the lineup of Blackie, Tony Richards, Rik Fox and Randy Piper. (When I interviewed Rik Fox, he had pictures to prove it) Chris Holmes didn't join until after Rik Fox left. And the material on those demos comprises the FIRST FOUR albums. Chris is claiming he was 'screwed' out of royalties on songs HE DID NOT WRITE. Blackie not only doesn't have a history of 'screwing' people out of royalties... the producer of 'Inside the Electric Circus' actually was interviewed and claimed Blackie PERSONALLY went down to the publishing company to make sure he got everything he was owed. Something he didn't have to do. He just wanted to, to make sure the guy was taken care of. Why does nobody who interviews Chris ever call him out on this? It's easy to check. He's just blatantly bullshitting.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmqwoK2IptSrl80 Hey buddy, Rik, Joins us with Chris have a look at 34.00 min mark Rik does claims he named the band fair enough but from what I am hearing Fox contributions songwriting wise pretty much ends there as he was in the band before it even officially named WASP (Sister for 4 months) on a three song demo And true Blackie always wrote the bulk of the material for WASP, what Chris is referring from my understanding he is not getting performance, publishing and songwriting royalties on the albums he played on and the songs he wrote to this day. Example Wild Child, Ball crusher, Tormentor and so on
