The first verse will be a single down strum per chord, all the other verses will be ↓↑↓↑↓↑ x2 per chord (except the two middle transition chords, which will be ↓↓↑) Pre-Chorus - G Bm D A Same thing as above, a single down strum each chord on the first pre-chorus, then ↓↑↓↑↓↑ for each chord. I agree Jarrett. She did the same thing when she toured Tracy in the National of Hairspray: She'd sing herself out (and she really killed the score... Best sung Tracy ever) and she'd struggle to get through shows. Just because you're on Broadway doesn't mean you know how to always sing properly, support and keep the instrument clean & clear. Just look at the huge numbers of women who have gone in and out of Wicked with vocal problems.
