I am a senior grandma in my 60’s and thought I would give this workout a try. Of course, I use very light weights 7.5-10 pounds. And from the very first try I have felt a change. I’m on my third session and am very happy I stumbled upon your channel. I’ve incorporated the arm workout as well. Love the combinations and the fact that I don’t have to kill myself working out to get toned. Thanks for putting this out there for all to enjoy. God bless. A fan for life! 😊

When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from site NextLevel Diet). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3200 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains, and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

@anuragraikwar963815 күн бұрын
Are you following his home workout?
@ScottMcMaster-er4xj15 күн бұрын
@@anuragraikwar9638 Honestly only parts of it. I am picking up techniques. particularly with the dumbbells lately. I work it into my workouts. I tend to focus on learning a few new ones at a time. I'm still at the start, so likely I am making mistakes and missing essential ones, and thus not hitting all the muscles or working them out optimally..
@ScottMcMaster-er4xj14 күн бұрын
@@anuragraikwar9638 So one difference is that I sometimes focus on a more limited set of movements, that I study from his videos, just trying to learn a few and remember them and what those movements are targeting muscle wise. I then take the reps to the point of failure (where I physically can't perform the movement anymore) rather than just a limited amount of time. I might be wrong about doing this, but I have sometimes heard the importance of going to the point of failure. I'm also eating better than I did before, with high protein diet and cutting carbs to a minimum (like avoiding bread, potato and stuff like that). I use Whey Protein shake either before pr after work out and have seen what I believe to be improvements in muscle gain from that. I eat vegetables for fiber and vitamins, take a vitamin supplement specifically for men and take Vitamin D. I eat Yogurt and try to reduce sugars and fat to stay lean. If I gain weight I want it to be muscle, not fat gain. I monitor my waist for any fat accumulation and cut back my diet if I am seeing any fat accumulation. Sometimes even with fasting to dump any pockets that have formed around the waist. I also work in cardio exercise, for calorie burn, running, jogging, stair climbing, even just walking. I do body weight exercises too, like push ups, sit ups (weighted and unweighted), crunches. Can see Abdominal definition coming in as pay off. Its pretty encouraging to see the 6 pack taking shape as its developing. I also like the feeling of discovering new muscles I honestly didn't even know existed as they start developing. There's a bit of learning anatomy that occurs.

You gotta have the toughest shoulders I swear, I did your workouts for weeks. Eventually I started other routines. My elbows and shoulders were killing me. It's been 6 months and I started yours's again and damn man right back to pain in the shoulders. Close grip push ups, Arnold presses, delt flys... don't bother me but hammer curls and front raises tear my joints up. I have to give you credit some folks are just born with phenomenal genes. I will say thanks to you, I've never felt better. Just need to blend what your doing and a few other things I to maintain a good results.

Awesome vid bro thanks for sharing I hit that bell. Youngsters don’t underestimate the power of compound exercises. Make sure you include them in your workout routine. They’re your best tools for maximum muscle growth. 💪💪XX

@@sleepy_melody6371 really? Thats crazy. Ive been doing the workout for a few days and Ive noticed that it doesnt really hurt my chest when im finished. Is this normal?
@sleepy_melody6371 Жыл бұрын
@@mccree8851 Like i said. I don't do it like in the video.I take the workouts and make them into sets. Usually 3 to 4. Also depends on what weights you're using. For this workout i'd recommend 20 ibs or more. Also hurt your chest when you're finished? Bruh, if you're in pain after a workout is over you're doing something wrong. Like it should burn but actual hurt and aching should not be your end result after a workout man. Unless you're talking about the next day. If that's the case then dude you might be performing the sets wrong. No matter how much you're lifting if the form isn't good then the workout is useless. Like imagine your max curl is 30 but you can kinda lift 40. So you pick up the 40's and start but your literally swinging your body every rep to get the weight up. The workout is then useless. The form is key. I'm not saying this is exactly what's happening but i'm just labeling possibilities. I mean the workout is doing good for me. Once my form goes to shit I stop. No point in doing the workout if my form is garbage.

@@sleepy_melody6371 this is my first time working out and im using 11ibs weights in each hand, and its kinda challenging but ive noticed its starting to become less difficult in my most recent session. Should i progressively increase my dumbell weight or just go straight to 20. Btw im a complete noob at all of this so thanks a lot for the info it means a lot

Well i started yesterday with this particular workout, I previously just did pushups and my chest area had less fat and more muscle. I did that for 6 weeks now. Now I’m gonna start with this as I got my new dumbbell set. I’ll keep y’all updated in the past days, today is day 2. (I started yesterday)
@parkyturky Жыл бұрын
This is Day 3 I haven’t started yet but to say, day 1y chest was sore, day 2, my chest was significantly getting better, less sore. Overall, not much different, it’s only been 2 days. I’ll update ever 3 days now, so day 5, I’ll be back

Alright, so this is day 5 for me, my chest is slightly more “toned” if you know what I mean, it no longer bulges out through my shirt (like before) when I flex, I can clearly feel my chest muscle. But, this is not the only exercise I do for my chest. I also do up to 50-100 push-ups each day. As long as y’all do this correctly and do push up routines, your chest WILL get smaller and build muscle (it’s not visible unless you flex)

I see my comment is probably a couple years late. But thank you for posting these videos. A lot of workout programmes out there don’t focus a single muscle like this, and this is an amazing way to hit the entire body every week from home
