I am keeping this quite vague but there is a specific comment I am expecting and the first one to make this comment will get a free midnightgarage decal set :P

With your police experience it may be a good idea to keep the "track" footage offline... Great video's btw and although i'm not that much into Japanese cars, i love to see your channel growing!

That is a much bigger difference than I was expecting for an oil and spark plug change. I would like to see some more info on the Lap that you do. Specifically how many corners and roughly how long it is. Keep up the updates :-)

Could you do a video on the lap with and without the spoiler?

For large maintenance would you then not also replace the thermostat? Possibly it also solves you heat issue If been looking for 14” semi’s as well, and the choice is indeed very limited. If seen the toyo R888 as wel, but they are a bit pricey... I went with the Nankang ns2-R they are available in 14”, And they dont break the bank. I personally can’t comment on if they are “good” or not as I havent had any other semis on any of my cars. And if you curious weather you cf-48 fit the mentioned brake setup your always welcome to fit ;)

Liland Global make some great alloy fullsize radiators specific for these cars. They should solve any heating issues forever.

Cool video! Please do install an air filter though, to protect the engine.

You can find the fuel filter in front of the driver side rear wheel below a black plastic cover.

Cool! Do you know a part number because i couldnt find anything online?
@GrafKroete5 жыл бұрын
@@TheMidnightGarage 16900SA5003 is the OE part number. Standart inline fuel filter will work as well. Closest to the OE design I could find is the Herth+Buss J1334005.

Are the Bosch oil filters bad?

What about gearbox oil? Magnetic plug again lol. Water pump? Have you ever though if increasing the engines breathing capability like adding vents in the rocker cover to possibly add power? also what do you think about lightweight pulleys?
@TheMidnightGarage5 жыл бұрын
Gearbox oil is a good idea as is changing the water pimp. Do you mean installing a bigger catch can to increase the engines breathing capability? Lightweight/underdrive pulleys are a good idea on race cars, but the original crank pulley has an harmonic balancer so I would probably keep that one stock
@elliot438bcfcVTEC5 жыл бұрын
@@TheMidnightGarage I mean adding extra vents possibly on the valve cover similar to what turbo guy do. Wondering if there is a benefit on stock n/a engines. Yeah I understand you need the harmonic balancer to prevent vibrations killing the engine in long run but I believe you can get lighter ones equipped with the balancer. Also you have the lighter pulleys for the p/s, alternator etc

racing is pretty hard on a gearbox..maybe a gearbox oil change? and..on the ring, track knowledge is important. your car might do 9 min on the ring, but the question is, can you do 9 minutes?
