It nearly derailed Ardmore studios. It was the first movie to be made entirely there. The movie makes no sense. It was so embarrassing for the Irish film board that they have disowned for decades after. But then you all have not heard of the story of Irish film backed by the Saudis that doesn't exist

I do love how this movie has captured the essence of what it is to be a long haul owner operator, albeit in space. Getting screwed over by brokers and dispatchers. the rivalry between company drivers and owner operators. Even having to keep your own rig running against the balance of fee and expense. Then on top of that, the plot within it. Loved this one when I first saw it, has still dated very well.

It is not cheap looking it is called B Movie looks. Nothing wrong with that, it try to do the same as the big budget movies but with less budget and in this case it made a great job.

The scene where the totally dismembered villain is to ravage our heroine and trying to start his artificial manhood by dragging (?) the string (like you start a motor for your boat, don't know the words - Im Swedish and not great in the english language...) was one of the most hilarious, genius scenes I've ever seen!!! JEEEEEEZUSS!!! I so love this film - It cant be released in Sweden... Never heard of it - but im sure 30year-old Kalle would have loved it as much as 60year-old Kalle does!!! It's a hell of a movie. A Good n' solid Retrofuturistic story. For its time (Mid 90's) it could made some good impression (People had enough with Space operas and horrors) but limited budget and release, secured its failure. We hope Hollywood (They keep the rights) will take a Brave step to remake some of the 1980's n 1990's Space adventure movies.
