History of Indian Football Part 1: In this video we talk about the early occassions and events happened with INDIAN FOOTBALL team.
All the Football skills, matches and Tricks.
Events like the formation of Indian team in 1938.
The first game between India vs Australia
1948 After the independence, in 1948 AIFF was introduced and
was affiliated by the FIFA.
1950 the team was automatically qualified for the world cup in Brazil 1950.
But due to the cost of travel Indian team could not attend the 1950 world cup.
1951-1962
This period is considered as the golden era of Indian football team.
1951 Asian games was hosted by India
1952 India went to on participate Olympics but lost
Boots was there problems. So AIFF immediately made boots mandatory.
1954 Indian went to finish second in Asian games which was held in manila.
1956 Olympics games India finished fourth which is regarded as
one of the finest achievements of Indian football team.
Neville D’Souza of India became the first Asian to score a hat-trick in the Olympics.
And India was the first Asian team to reach the Olympia’s semifinal.
1962 India went on winning Asian games by beating South Koreans in the finals.

Because India in many ways is far more poor than you think, the amount of wealth in Europe is by far more bigger now than in last century where the average quality of life was practically the same beetween Europeans countries (especially because of world wars) and rich part of India, at this time India can compete, Brazil prestige was built in this years too, but after the 50's Europe achieve some amazing developpement especially in rise of quality of life. Europe right now is alone on top of football world even old south american powers like Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina can't compete anymore against mighty Europe (look all last four world cups, all was won by an European side) In modern football extreme wealth is the key, when I say extrem wealth I don't talk about billionaires but about quality of life in every ways, very easy good quality food access, level of education for the mass, level of sports infrastructures for everyone not only for rich kids, and also the level of your neighboring countries who share the same amount of wealth. Look at Japan, it's a very good asian team with the best quality of life in this continent by far probably the best side in Asia but still struggle most of the time against european big countries, why ? because lack of level in Asia unlike for exemple France, who play against teams like Germany, England, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium etc... everytime. And remember, yes India is a former english colony so she have a old football history, but France and Italy are the countries who gave the ancestor of football to english people (La soule or Calcio), and France, Germany have in some cultural ways far more connexion with UK than former british colonial empire have.

It's the only INDIAN FOOTBALL CLUB team to win THREE INTERNATIONAL trophies and has the largest numbers of supporters in INDIA. You should've mentioned the name in the video.
