Interesting Nina. Perhaps you should write a book / ebook on your piercing experiences. As a sideline to your job, soap making and.... Besides you do not need to have an extra room to do this. Just an idea. I have no piercings but enjoy these videos. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your lovely comment! I am not a pro, I leave that to the piercers of this world! :)

I got my helix four days ago and my ears are a little bit red and behind the helix is redder and a little bit swollen and I'm a little bit scared what should I do? Remove it or go with a doctor?

so i had my conch pierced about 5 months ago, and the jewelry that was put into the piercing has fallen out twice now, so i cleaned a stud and put it in and have had less problems the stud i put in then when i had the original threaded stud in it. should i go back to my piercer to have it reput in again? or would i be okay to leave it as is?

Thank you Nina for this Video. I like your piercing Videos. I have also a Rook, a Conch and a Forward Helix piercing but mine take very long to heal. Did you ever develop some Kind of a Blister (some call it Keloid, but in fact I think it is a healing Problem and not a Keloid in many cases) at your piercings?

No! What most people mean are irritation bumps. keloids usually need to be surgically removed and one is either prone to developing them, or not. Unlike irritation bumps keloids don't just go away on their own though. I've never had any irritation bumps. All my jewelry (well, most of it), is from neometal, implant grade titanium and I only use water and saline solution on my piercings. I also refrain from touching and moving them until they are fully healed. Some people are more prone to irritation bumps than others though. I might just be lucky or it's a mix of both! :) Most of my cartilage piercings took/take roughly a year to heal, which according to my piercer, is pretty standard. Even 1.5 years wouldn't be surprising! :)

I had like a blister on my tragus. They are known as postules and can be quite common on piercings. Just don’t touch it and use tea tree oil 2-3 times a day. Mine went away in about a week. It may have also been due to me fiddling with it when it was itchy and I used to put earbuds in my ears but I haven’t for a few months now and touch wood , my piercing is healing fine and haven’t had any more problems. If in doubt ask your piercer for them too look at it or see what they think. That’s what I did.
