Ok, I finally figured it out; with this lead singer, if I close my eyes, I can almost hear Smokey himself, from '65, singing with the group! At times, the man's vocal timbre is so much like Smokey, it is disconcerting. Whoever he is, THAT's why this video resonates & stays with me as it does!!

The lead singer Sidney Justin, was a member of Shalamar, also did you know O. J. Simpson named this son and daughter after him, their names are Sidney and Justin. He was also a former pro football played Defensive Back for the L A Rams and Baltimore Colts 79-82 nicknamed, STEELE.

No the MIracles had Smokey Robinson who was replaced by Billy Griffin (sang lead on hits like Do it Baby and Love Machine) and Mark Scott and then Sydney Justin (who was a member of Shalamar) Pete Moore sang background.
